Hi from England 🏴 I just about screamed when I saw you go in to the same Woolies I went to when I visited! We used to have a iconic shop in our country also called Woolworths but it was essentially just a store full of cheap crap and an amazing sweet pick and mix area! When I went to Cape Town at the start of the year and saw Woolies, of course I had to go in! And I went in every day after! I absolutely loved my solo trip to Cape Town, it became one of my favourite places ever and I did nothing but rave about the city and its people to anyone that would listen when I get home! So I absolutely love watching your videos!! Thank you for sharing 😊 ps I quote the sad little life Jane part almost every day, it’s as good as the guy that put the whole whisk in his mouth in another episode of CDWM!

If you're cooking more asian food and interested in some fusion, check if your market has some gochugaru (the flakes, not gochugang which is a spice paste). It has a sweet and kind of smoky flavour with a bit of citrus, kind of like sumac + aleppo + sweet chilli. I add it to a lot of my food and it always elevates the dish.
