I noticed he has played mostly up front in a 352 for Forest and Wales, yet we always play him RW and it doesn't feel like it's his natural position. I wonder if asked he sees himself as a striker.

A rebuild requires strengthening the signings to progress beyond last seasons deficits . That is still in the case of LB ,LCB not been sorted . With the clock ticking you understand ,Udogie and VDV cannot play every game and expect to be anything but blown out ? Davis is not good enough especially in the inverted LB position a crucial one that should be scoring goals under Anges system. Feeling sold short this window ,by a long way. That is back on Levy , always for tomorrow signing never the task at hand, speculating on rewards for rich transfer returns,yet failing to deliver thus crushing the potential in what should be the growth of a Golden Generation of footballers ,integrated into a team of winners.
The biggest change in tactics needs to come from the coach allowing players to rotate so that as full backs advance there is not so much space for opp attackes behind the defense

leeds fan here...archie is still very raw and his best attribute is his composure...you will need to use him strategically....he can do well in some games but will be badly expose in others...when he does badly he usually learn very fast and dont repeat the bad performance...
Strongly prefer Bergvall over Maddison but Ange would likely go with Maddison to start. As for Dragusin, Ange appears to trust Romero and Van de Ven over Dragusin, so unlikely he will start as long as those two are fit.
Probably have a back 4 of VDV, Dragusin, Romero and Porro come Leicester, Bergvall might start imo, but will be more likely to start the following game if Maddison is still looking off the pace

Honestly aren't we being a bit harsh on Gray? He has played multiple positions in the short amount of time he's had with the team and this was his first time playing against a formidable opponent. He wasn't much worse than the rest of the midfield bar Bergwall who was excellent tbh so if anything it should be the senior players getting blamed on the young one.
Ange is ruining spence life by playing him on left. He should support him on thr right and porro in front. Sometimes feeling painful to see that we don't have world class and (brave to unuse under performance players)manager with consistency and great changes. I hope spurs will focus on winning titles instead of trying unnecessary things and who know what is real priority for the team . COYS

Archie Gray is way out of his depth against high calibre opposition.. He's a kid who needs time to develop and potentially become a great player in the future. It doesn't really help when our fanbase says he's generational and overhype him when he has a good game against a mediocre side like Hearts. Don't overhype him and don't label him as anything and just let the kid develop for crying out loud because he doesn't need this kind of pressure on him
To be honest Archie Gray needs to be nurtured for 2 to 3 seasons to be ready. He haven’t played the number 6 role for long time even his time at Leeds Udt . The only player really ready is Lucas Bergvall. Gray needs to learn the number 6 and I believe he can do it.

Even if Madison doesn't do well this preseason, it's hard to form a midfield line without him, so we have to use him

We have 4 competitions, with 8 Europa games before Xmas (more than previous Euro comps). We need 4 first choice CBs to succeed.
Gray was no good against a high-level opponent.
They were doing double fitness sessions on the Asian trip. He will be fine, but Bervall will be more important to us this season
Gray is only young. He’s learning all the time. Chuck him back in against Bayern and let him learn some more.
