Hanse 575 - Yacht Delivery - Baltic to UK

It is approximately 800 Nautical Miles from Greifswald in Germany to the Solent in the UK. This trip was conducted in February 2015 - and it was very cold!
The Hanse 575 has an elegant hull with a long waterline, a performance orientated sail plan and a comfortable and safe cockpit area. A delight to sail!
For this trip we provided three extremely experienced sailors. The skipper is an Ocean Master and Master 200 (and a Yacht Master Instructor). The first mate is also an Ocean Master and Yacht Master Instructor and the third crew is an experienced Day Skipper and yacht owner.
Despite the cold, the conditions were generally very good. Just a few days waiting in Cuxhaven for some strong winds to pass.

I think I've built a boat I've been a boatbuilder at HANSE Yachts since 2011 and I've built every 575 to 2016. I've built the engines, inner fairing and electronics in the ships

I guess if you're not sitting/standing at a helm out in the soup, you're not a man. Thanks, but if I ever buy a sailboat, it'll be an Amel or a motorsailer.
