Now that's an improvement of the real junk wax era, but with prices the way they are this crash could be near as bad. Everyone going crazy speculating on rookies driving prices of singles and boxes to unsustainable levels. If there's a "run" on these (people looking to dump) which kinda seems inevitable with where prices are, this market is gonna crash hard
Def 1000 was way overpriced even if you get a Herbert auto you will be lucky to get that value back out the box if you even get a big hit by the time you grade which the quality control hasn’t been the greatest you would have to grade out at a 10 to get your moneys worth

The price on these boxes are so damn crazy now. Obviously still some people who can afford but the group breakers are the main reason in my opinion for the price hike on products. If no one bought at the outrageous prices, the cost would go down, but group breakers know they’ll sell out of slots no matter what the cost of the box is so we’re stuck in this state of boxes not being accessible to casual collectors. It’s unfortunate man.

@@hank8291 there’s some luck involved. But not much. I know what days the vendors restock depending on location, I know how many different vendors there are in my area, and what routes they take. I’ve found a ton of mosaic and prizm this year. Sometimes I hit the vendor when I’m the only one there, so I don’t have to split it with anyone.
That’s great and all but for regular joe schmo’s like me that want to go into a target at their own convenience to buy a blaster, that’s really annoying. Do you open everything you buy or are you one of those douchebags that’s ruining the hobby by flipping?
that's the gamble.....Sometimes you will pul 5k value in a 1k box. but with this box it's best to hold and sell when the season starts the value of these boxes will be 2k easily.

I just don't get a box costing $1k and numbered cards are to 149 and higher. With that cost, base cards should be numbered that high and parallels shouldn't be higher than 49 or so. Maybe I'm wrong.
I’m shocked and disappointed he justified the price on this by saying the cards sell more on the secondary market. Not everybody opens boxes to immediately sell them on eBay for profit! By the way, how’s that Beasley selling on the secondary market? SMH

The problem is for 1000 a box even if U pulled all 3 qbs base thats only worth maybe less then 300 dollars unless 1 or 2 is either a sliver or some color prizm.

For this price, you could buy a PS5 at scalper prices, or a PS5 *and* an Xbox Series X at MSRP, or you can buy 144 pieces of shiny cardboard, two or which have a sticker attached to them.
$300 seems a little more appropriate for this kind of thing.

So disgusting the prices nowadays. I remember ripping box after box of 2017 Prizm for $100-$120 all day back in 2017.
I regret opening my 2017 box. Could have flipped it for $5000 and let some other poor bastard get $100 worth of cards ;)

@Liam nah. Panini has raised their prices to the distributors and they in return raise their rices to the card shops.
Prices will only drop if people stop buying .. supply and demand game. Panini could also make more product.

Not even that. Paid $1000 for 2 Rookie quarterbacks, not even parallels. $150 unless he grades Burrow.
