Glad to hear that. I also like to visit often. There are many videos of various cities on the channel, if you like - also here on the playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLaxUrZNxL7WJ14YrISDaVv4n09roy5u5t.html
I love Prague; it is my favorite city. I first visited Prague in 1992 with a roommate who had family who lived in Prague. I also visited Prague just before Covid hit. 3 main differences between the visits- 1st, it way more crowed this last time, but being a tourist myself; I really can’t complain. 2nd, was price. In 1992, everything was shockingly inexpensive. And 3rd, and probably the biggest difference was food. My Czech friend warned me about the food. He joked “there is a reason you have never seen a Czech restaurant anywhere besides Czech”. And he was right. We either ate at the beer halls or we are ate at the newly opened McDonald’s(which is something I never do even at home; much less traveling). In in 2019, the restaurant selection had increased drastically; even if most of the restaurants weren’t serving Czech cuisine.
I had the same experience. Prague really was super crowded during the summers for the last 10 years or so. The center felt becomig almost fully "tourist only" regarding shops and restaurants. That's why the 2020 visit was interesting to me as most foreign travel was slow at the time and several souvenir shops even closed. During the past 10-20 years I haven't seen Prague that empty as it was in 2020. I may return soon for a few more walks which will surely return to previous levels - minus Asian tourist groups for w hile maybe. Here is my current favourite walk of Prague which was only possible in that time with fewer people on the streets: th-cam.com/video/J7HIfklyF9w/w-d-xo.html
Thank you very much Jaroslav! It's been over 3 years since starting the channel. I still have lots of fun with it as some new trips are planned for this year. Have a nice weekend!
In August 2020 I felt Prague was rather empty - noticable fewer tourists compared to normal times - even compared to before Christmas 2018: th-cam.com/video/a4y7pJn4a-4/w-d-xo.html
Oh I've been there too recently, this year's cherry blossom looked amazing! Summer 2020 seems to have been warm there. Also, congrats on the well deserved 100k :)
Thank you! I still like to pan up and around a bit as the facades of buildings seem important to me to get a better picture of the architecture. Since 2021 I also film with additional camera directions. I haven't gotten around to edit these videos yet the style will be more hectic. On this channel the single camera perspective will remain as it's more relaxing. I still wonder if I should overlay a little map in one corner and may try that out soon checking for feedback. Thanks for watching!
@@poptravelorg Little panning of something interesting is good especially when you keep walking. If it was up to me I wouldn't put a map in the picture as it would spoil organic feel of walking. But if I really wanted to try it I would go for a translucent type of map.
Wonderful walk in Prague's streets, it reminds me my stay here few years ago. Thanks POPTravel 😀 ! Nice day, Greetings from France

fast pace of walking and very little of panning - that's why I like your videos!
