Winie the first erected statue of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah is the symbolism of one of his famous statements: forward ever, backward never. And also, he is the only president of the republic of Ghana who has been buried three times in two different countries, once in Guinea and twice in Ghana and the museum is his current state of rest and laid beside him is the wife Fathiah Nkrumah. Thanks for carrying us along.

The local title of Dr. Kwame nkrumah is "Osagyefo" which represents the title of a chief and means "the warrior who saves" so the statue of people blowing the horn represent the horn blowers who announces the presence of the king as well as the drum beaters. So the statues are deliberately placed in front of the burial ground to represent how the Ghanaian Akan king is ushered in to a durbar. Am surprised tho that the Ghanaian TH-camrs didn't know this. Anyways that is what they mean.

The popular quote " Our Independence is meaningless unless it is linked with the total liberation of the African continent" was said there. Oh my God this Ghanaian TH-camr knows nothing he should just keep quiet. The statue in front of the mosuleum is a replica of this broken one. Which is framed to represent Dr. Nkrumah famous quote of "we face neither east nor West, we face forward". The broken statue was vandalized hours after the coup in 66. The body was later recovered in the fourth republic but it didn't have the head. The head was separately turned later by a citizen and so they are separated. The TH-camr should just be honest and stop the misrepresentation and please next time go with a tour guide.
