Question: I am from Malaysia and the weather outdoors are crazyyyy hottttt at times. Should i place them in my room where in the day its hot but at night its cold cuz i have the ac on. Or is placing them outdoors ok?
Thanks for sharing. I don’t have all the different type of mix. Can I just add perlite to my succulent soil mix? I’ve been using completely succulent premix soil and I think that’s why it’s dying.
Hi JustKis I just bought Greenovia and planted it last night in pot & soil. Didn't realise i shouldn't be watering it (which i did last night oops!) so when it comes to watering here in Malaysian climate between March - early October i don't it water at all? Just only mist water between mid October - February?
Between March to October, there don't need water during the dormant period as they are zzzzzz. In October then you can water. Now those you have watered removed them from the wet soil and let it dry. Hopefully they will be ok
Thanks for the advice! then during October - March months later, how often do i water? is it like once a month or is it more of a once every 2 weeks sort of thing?

Hi! I'm from the Philippines. I recently bought greenovias from an online store and I am obsessed with them already. They are very costly. Is it alright if I just place them under a grow light? Do you have any tips how to make them grow big? Mine are still very small, like 1-2 cm.
Greenovia is indeed a lovely flower. They prefer areas that are cool. Indoor window sill is good for them. Intense heat and sun is not advisable. Do not water them during their dormancy between March to October as they are zzzzzz. Between this period they can be plant like dry flower without soil. Come October plant them in peat moss + grit 1-3mm ( grit / soil : 60/40 or 70/30). Water them mid of October. After that water them when soil is completely dry until March.
@@justkeepitsimple3096 hi there, i just purchased grenovia like a few days ago, and i had just planted them earlier. My soil is mixed with cocopeat, perlite, and rainbow stones, and very gritty. And im from malaysia, but i hv no air conditioner in my house, so my questions are, 1. Is it okay if i plant them now? 2. Is it okay if i put them indoor with the fan on? 3. Or can i put them in the fridge alternately for every few days? (i dont have a grow lamp yet so it'll be dark inside it) Thanks!
@@aifaasmith. yes you can put them indoor. Maybe near your morning sun window sill. Fan is good. Your grit soil should ok. Fridge is not necessary unless you want to try, but not in the freezer
I planted mine in June 2022, i spray the soil with water in july 2022, water it again August so far it is doing fine, it grow bigger now with the petals open up so beautiful, i want to thank you Keep it Simple for the tips 😍😍😍 by the way i live in Brunei

Yes it is hot and humid with high air moist. Yes you can put indoor as you mentioned.
This is a very pretty plant, we are in Texas, so it's hot, I wonder what would be suggested, do you keep your indoor?
Same goes with my situation, I'm from Malaysia,.. it's very hot but always rainy. Sorry for my poor grammar&vocab
I have roses in 2 different areas. Some at the patio with indirect sunlight and away from rain, while others indoor with morning sun.
For Texas you can place indoor near the morning sun window sill.

What happened for those whom you grow inside ref?
what kind of topping are you using?
I am using maifan for topping
@@justkeepitsimple3096 thank you so much
Love these...still cost to much for a fixed income..love the dried around the green.
It actually not pricey for such a lovely rose. Worth it to have at least one mountain rose
what is Nutrition Soil where to order it?
Online shop or from our shops on shopee / lazada malaysia

Do yours grow at all? Do they wake up? In Malaysia its pretty hard right? I'm just curious. I hope you make another video of this fella update
They do grow, just need to ensure non direct sunlight and gritty soil.
