I took a class with you years ago at the Grand Central Atelier. I learned more with you in two weeks than in college. You’re a great teacher. If anyone is thinking of taking a class with Waddell, just do it. You’ll wish you did it sooner.
Did I like it? I loved it. I love all your videos. I love watching your skill and talent, I love learning about your techniques and I love you're sense of humour. Thank you, you are a real gem ❤
Your presentation is hilarious and at the same time giving an in depth explanation of your process. I always learn something new when watching your tutorials. Thanks! And Yes, I did like it 😉
your videos...are really amazing!!!... and the effort that you put in your videos to make us understand the process...bruh! you are awesome! your videos were really helpful. Thank you so much!
Sorry, can you repeat it I was totally into your painting and barely heard what you said. But your painting is fascinating, fantastic and never stop blending.👋👋👋👋👋
Thank you for the inspiration. I learnt very little in art school from my teachers. Kind of a free for all. I so appreciate how my art is moving because of you.
Love your gorgeous paintings and superb instructions! This is truly valuable insight into "the portal," as you say, Scott. I also agree about the painterly style... I like it when well done, but it seldom really is. I actually think it is for people that actually can't see the tiny shifts and details as well as some (few) of us. I think of beautiful blending as a sculptural realistic portrayal that is so much more skilled. It takes practice and careful study.
I have done something similar. I imagine myself sitting with the subject and experiencing their environment. I like your idea of going into a portal. Great video.
i love your work bro and please don't give in to peer pressure to do show-off brush work! Stay strong and just play the melody, that is where the song lives. Thanks for this one; this video topic is exactly what ive been needing to here, i've been wanting to ask you what you did when the chevrons are closed and you just couldnt get your mind to feel said forms ? I struggle with this a fair bit right now . Love your work - love your videos - thanks for your generosity.
You are wonderful! I love your sense of humor. I do paint and your videos are very helpful. Your suggestion about how to imagine the light is a good one. Not to be creepy, but you do have a nice voice and you are cute enough to just watch. 😜
I didn't ilke it, I Loved it ❤. I took an oil painting course a couple of months ago, but have not painted with oils again. So, I think I have to go through the portal!😂 Thanks for sharing your excellent experience in such an amazing way. Everytime I watch one of your videos, I have a smile on my face and feel inspired. Keep it up
You're jokes are great. I'm gonna go buy a couple of your courses. Do you have any recommendations for learning color? Is there a specific video on your site for color? Or a different resource like a book?

SCOTT!!!!!!!!PLEASE THERE ARE MONTHS THAT I WANT TO BUY SOME OF YOUR TEACHING VIDEO BUT I CANNOT DO IT IF YOU DON'T ANSWER TO ALL "NOT ENGLISH PEOPLE "IF THESE VIDEOS HAVE SUBTITLES... i cannot buy something that l don t understand isn't?
I certainly enjoy watching you paint. Most often I do learn things.... Your mental 3 points of this video... well, no put down intended, are a waste on me... I do know I am painting 3 dimensional things...on a flat 2 dimensional surface... this is called reality.... I don't pretend otherwise and it doesn't confuse me... But then, I'm old, been painting for so long... found myself and my style, like it and am still questing to improve.... Still, as open as I like to be... I just have never wanted to stick my head "into" a canvas to look around....... Hahahahaha... Keep up your good work...really... (and I paint for myself...no one else...... easier that way.)

I love how 15:04 is literally the meme of "First step: draw the eye. Second step: Paint the eye. Third step: finish a masterpiece".
Sorry, can you repeat it I was totally into your painting and barely heard what you said. But your painting is fascinating, fantastic and never stop blending.👋👋👋👋👋
