The deadwood and wood transport jobs are a great earner.
I built a small sawmill on my River bend farm. I just feed it trees I wanted to cut down in the area. I hate loading logs with base game equipment so I drag them there with the winch. I've done a few deadwood contracts with a chainsaw and finding all the trees can be frustrating, I can't imagine doing it with a harvester.
hi thanks for the video i did not think to do that because i tried it early on in fs22 platinum expansion and got as good as no wood for productions from the dead wood so it really was not worth doing more than cutting them down with the chainsaw and leave them there and turn in the contract i am really glad to see that it has changed since then
"edit" just went back to fs 22 and checked and they did patch it so it is worth cutting transporting and using the deadwood for productions

Bitrate needs more optimation brother meaning you got rank that bad boy up from your video capture settings. Gets so grainy when you run into the forrest.
I'm still fine tuning the setup but I appreciate it I'm trying to find where I need to be. 25 is a different beast than 22 was I'm making a lot of changes to the quality.

Is there a way to remove those damn bushes? I see there is an attachment for an excavator but i was hoping for something..cheaper😂
…on PC there is a mod, just released for FS25, called something like “real mower” I think. It allows you to mow anywhere and mow down bushes.
Also mulchers under the forresty area in the store should work, but they also create fields
You can paint over the bushes with no collision.
@@mrtommy7796 well if that works then i can just use the paint tool the turn the field into grass again. But for some reason you cant remove a bush with the paint tool🙄

a script that lest you keep the deadwood would be nice
you can keep the deadwood as long as you don't finish the contract till you have sold it or placed it in an owned production
I think if you cut off a tiny bit of each log and sell those bits the logs will stay when you finish the contract.
How much Money can you earn when you just make them into wood chips?
It's basic math. Just look at the price for wood chips, figure out how much wood you've got, and do the multiplication.

without that mod its not as profitable
It is just as profitable it just takes longer. Mine is sped up just for the video. The outputs are the exact same just with a 0 added. So you will make the same amount just at a slower pace.
that mod is the same recipe just faster that's all that changes... as the auther of said mod i can guarantee you that...
@@truckermatzy If you're the author and you post production mods to modhub, can you please specify that the values were increased by 10x. With fs22, I got sick of downloading productions to find out they were very cheaty for my playstyle,.
@@harag9 Not sure on what platform you play the game but if you are on PC you can modify this very easily from the mods folder if the multiplier is not what you want it to be. Literally adding or removing few zeros on txt file (well lua/xml file but you just edit it via txt editor.)
@@GamoFIN PC. Yes. I've done it with FS22, but then have to rename the package/building etc and distribute it to my friends / server. I really think mods should have all the information on the screen before downloading it.
