And it actually didnt xD magazines and reviewers are crap nowdays... Its unbelievable how most of sites are putting that iron maiden crap and that limp biskit crap above this album... Such a shame. Tech Death is still not very recognized as much as it should since it is not for everyone..
@@felipegiraldo8100 the thing is that tech death is not for the one time listener, cause there are so many layers in the music. That seperates it from stuff like limp bizkit.
@@derik4126 That is PRECISELY not an objective way to decide what album from whataver band is the best of the year or one of the best in general or one year... Musicians can do catchy songs that are actually mediocre best example of it are some songs of Six Feet Under or Limp biskit with, Break stuff, which is one hell of instrumentally poor and easy to play song and there you have it as one of the most known in nu metal... Magazines just base their opinions on crap average Metal that is liked by possers, metal newers, or people that think that iron maiden is heavy and is disabled to listen to heavier genres because they think is noise and cannot process the virtuosism of fast Tech metal. That is the reality. If some people cannot comprehend Tech Death, it is not a reason to not aknowledge the fact that some of this bands put out the best music of the year and not that mediocre BS of limp biskit or that new Iron maiden which is terrible and boring compared with previous records and still people say that slbum is among the best of the year... Yeah, funny crap.

This is not only a problem in metal. I really liked some other stuff in the past, were critics said its mediocre at best. Thats just how it is
I love the track but as a guitar player I prefer The Golden Mouth of Ruin because it has great solos and more technical riffs. This new track is faster but the guitars although unrelenting and brutal are more basic. Either way I love them both. Archspire is just awesome and I can't wait to see them live.
