Thanks Kenny. Your video for the hockey stick display case enabled me to make a smaller exact version for a baseball bat display. could not have done it otherwise. Thanks
You're very welcome. I'm glad that the show was helpful to you and assisted you in making your case. Thanks for tuning in and for taking the time to leave me a comment
Good stuff. I like the splines and contrasting color. You've given me an inspiration for making a display case for my grandfather's WWI medals. Just a suggestion, you might consider using non-reflective glass... if you haven't already. I'm looking forward to see how this project turns out.
Nice work bud. You are the first person I've seen cut dados to the outside without a sacrificial fence clamped in place. Do you set your dado blade wider than the desired dado?
johnnie52 Yup. The blade is set just proud of the size of the opening. Push pads are a must though as the blade is exposed slightly on the outside of the stock. I was wondering if anyone would notice that or not. The sacrificial fence works well too, but sometimes, I'm not a fan of having the dado that close to the actual fence so this method works for me.
Hi Kenny I enjoy your videos, but I have a suggestion. I almost didn't click on this build video because the thumbnail looks like a shot of you talking. I find they are usually 'vlogs', which I'm not fond of. I think you'd be better using a photo of the project you are building. best regards from Wales Nigel
BigWingUK That's a great suggestion Nigel and I thank you for bringing it up. I will look into that. I had never really thought of it before, but I guess you do have a point. The display picture can discourage some viewers from having an interest in the project video. Thanks again for the suggestion.
I did notice yesterday as soon as I saw it released - I'm glad you liked my idea. I appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos, which - as a beginner - I find very informative.

Nice Kenbo, looking forward to see how the case turns out.
John Gilson Thanks John. You won't have to wait for long..........the finale is next Friday.

Truth be told, the customer is ordering the glass so that choice is his. I will make that suggestion though. Thanks.
Great work thanks for that
Frans van Wijk Glad you enjoyed it Frans. Thanks for watching the show.

BigWingUK I hope that you'll notice Nigel........that I took your advice. I hope you like part II of the series.
