This is Adidas AG or better known as Adidas, the German manufacturer of athletic shoes and apparel and sporting goods. In the early 21st century it was the largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe and the second-largest (after Nike) in the world.
What's more is that the brand was born out of sibling rivalry yet, and arose to be one of the most successful brands in the world! To keep its success going it didn’t stop battling with other industry powerhouses for the best position in the market-and delivered a few famous models that have changed the world’s idea of footwear.
An initial joint venture, a fellowship with the Nazis, a fierce rivalry, a meteoric rise, and a trademark that changed the dynamics of the company paving new paths for achievements. This brand has experimented with various kinds and is known for its diversity in every product.
There's a lot more to this story that you might not have come across.
So to see if Adidas is more than just a shoe brand with the three stripes that the world recognizes it for, watch the video above to find out.

Adolf Dassler came back from WWII as a young man and started a shoe company?! What?! Is this a parody account?!

The brothers involvement in world war II is a bit concerning, I wonder if they ever repented of it.

The Olympics were before WW2, not “on the back of.” I think your timeline is a bit jumbled. Might double check that.

Most of the world calls it 'football' or some variation of it, according to the rules of a specific language (example: German 'Fußball'). It's literally a game when you kick the ball with your feet, hence the name.
