- Hi Everyone, we are back again for OIDC Round 2. This event started out so good for us but didn't work out in the end with a huge wreck in top 4. We are working hard this week repairing the car ahead of this weekends Finals.

@@bojangler9685 there are still plenty to go around, they are getting harder to find tho, they wouldnt be as popular as they are still if they were all gone. The point is tho that its just a car. James being safe and not injured because at the end of the day he can build another if he chooses
I think I have met more people named James than seen s chassis.
But for real. Glad he's okay, motorsport definitely commands respect.
He’s already got 2 more s14 chassis so if this one is finished he’s all good
I just want to highlight the level of emotional regulation James has in these moments. He never comes out angry, yelling and blaming other drivers (unlike some other pros we see...).

The 10 minutes really isnt enough for a non fault incident.
You’ve got a point.
However, I think it’s a good idea. If they had say, half an hour, you could have events lasting for hours longer. Which is fine when you’re watching the all action cuts. But the livestream, or in person experience would massively suffer for it.
I think a good compromise for a non fault accident, when the 10 minutes isn’t enough, would be the driver getting the win and then being able to keep hands on the car until their next battle is called.
Make it a top 8 only thing with 20-25 minutes? The most anticipated/exciting battles (usually) would then get a more fair chance if this happens maybe?
@@Lazl0ow The downside to that is people taking that for granted and pushing beyond the limits. If you want to win or get into a top 4 battle you might push past what is safe knowing you get a decent chunk of time to repair.

As an American it’s really cool to see the differences in the pits over there compared to here. Here it’s a freak show man. lol. In a good way but it’s still a freak show. Very cool to see teams with just the car, a canopy, and looks like very grass roots look to it. Don’t wanna say grass roots vibe because never been to an event over there but that’s what it looks like. Very cool. 🤙🏻 Oh and sorry about your car. But when you use a tool for what it’s design for sometimes the tool gets damaged. She’ll be back. I’m not worried about it. Glad you’re okay.
Love the fact the car could sit on the line for that long and start cooking and still compete perfectly!!! in drag racing the tune would be smoked the car would have burnt down and that’d ruined everything, nobody compares to James Deane and his machine, mickey and James got it locked down no messing ❤😂

Apart from that what an amazing piece of driving and machinery up to the BANG part. I Can't imagine how difficult it is when hands,feet and brain work as one. Especially at your speed and side ways. That was one heck of a smash, glad everyone was alright, and certainly an unlucky one that he bounced back out from the wall which then caused the additional smash. There were a lot of crashes though the weekend. Hope everything goes well for getting the car back together for next weekend!

damn crazy ended with a crash in Fd now a new season with no so bad of a crash but did bang up all the suspension and wheels from his car i can see and feel the frustration in your voice I would be upset for sure

not a bad fix once its in a shop. Held up really well but you can also get it back to spec once its on a rack. Hats off to the boys and the other team jumping into help. Maybe if it was just suspension and not anything else, could of been possible. Take a day, rest, and get after it. A wreck sucks but a wreck when you already have a podium, stings a little less. Cheers

I think the real testament is you entered the same corner, at the same speed, and still were on line. You only clipped his rear, and while it sucks, it just goes to show ever crash, every battle, every practice lap all adds up to you being better. Keep your chin up, keep pushing, and the new s14 or whatever you do is gonna be sick too.
