I love how different the three designs are while still feeling like the same character. I imagine in universe it could be like the official one is his standard form and he would then transform into the brawler form when he needed to fight. Then after acquiring all the golden masks he would ascend to the overlord form.
i recommend you buy fake g2 sets in order to accomplish that goal. if you do not trust them, buy a cheap set form that seller first and see if its accurate
I love how this model looks, but man the leg posability is AWFUL. Just about everything else is good though, so if you don’t mind messing around trying to get him to stand for a bit, I 100% recommend. Also, here’s a few mods I made to my Makuta if anyone wants to try them out I used the shortest CCBS limbs with two ball joins, and attached his hands to the middle ball, which makes his hands easier to pose, my color of choice is trans reddish orange. I’ve used a couple of half-pins to attach one of the 2015 Toa armor pieces to his back, I went with black but gold works fine too, just something to make the back look less skeletal. I’m swapping out his fingers for the larger claw pieces used on the Skull Spiders and Skull Slicer’s claw, since it seems to match up with the show better. I put red clay behind the mask’s eyes, it was clearly designed with the intention of having a trans orange head like the Beasts and Umarak the Destroyer have, so the eyes don’t shine through well. I like putting his staff in his left hand, I’m considering just swapping the arms’ construction entirely, just because it always weirded me out how he swapped handedness when he got big, but maybe that’s a possession implication. I’m trying to find a good way to mod his gearbox to only work on the arm without the staff in it, even if I found out how it’d be too complex to post in a TH-cam comment, so if it sounds like a good idea then go nuts and good luck. And finally I have the masks on his chain as the gunmetal-red Hunter Mask, trans red 2015 Mask of Fire, and pearl gold Skull Mask, since they fit the color scheme, and they’re the only G2 masks no one uses that don’t cost hundreds of dollars aside from the infected 2015 Kopaka Mask. Also he looks really cool next to Artakha, he was going to be a substitute until I manage to build Karzahni (trying to figure it out myself since I don’t have a patron account), but they loo so good together that I might leave them. I’d also like to make a purple version one day, as best I can at least, some pieces like the leg beams and eyestalk aren’t in purple so that’d be tough.
