You are completely correct, and the vast majority of wrestling fans agree. The amount of times I have suggested the same thing while watching wrestling with my dad or anyone is crazy. USA wrestling, I hope you are watching and listening!
I said this on Beau Bartlett's post about how I don't wanna buy an annual subscription, then Spey called me out and pointed out they have a $30 a month option. The reality is they know it's a problem too. But they work for the company. It's tough. Flo is great and I don't want to barrade them. but i don't see them surviving if they didn't hold all the cards

So true! The whole world of wrestling could learn from the NCAA! It’s the best! I watch wrestling everyday, TH-cam changed the wrestling world but I love it live. Been wrestling since 76’. UWW is even worse than USA wrestling.
100 percent Ben.. why can't they be put in order, or organized better somehow. I always feel like I am missing matches I want to see. As a coach I get tired often times of how un organized tournaments can be to. Due to lack of help, or whatever other excuse everyone has I don't know. They need to not try to recreate the wheel. It should be a simple clear cut process that everyone copies.

Haha. True. I’ll watch women’s freestyle over Greco too. Sometimes women’s is more interesting than men’s. Making it accessible in the us and internationally should be number one on their agenda!
They literally made an announcement at the Olympic trials "don't leave we still have Greco". People would rather wait to get out of the parking lot than watch that.
I was trying to decipher the schedule....I could not figure it out. Ended up spending the time to just watch and watch a bunch of stuff. As you get older these sort of things get more and more irritating. Try not to let it get you jaded. They probably won't change.
I'm really not sure what the downsides of this is. Organizing the tournament so people can see the style they want to see should be a no-brainer, and for finals. Doing all the MGR matches then the WFS matches, then MFS matches. Just makes sense. I don't think that would hurt anyone, even the Greco people or their fans. The Olympics did exactly this, and it was really easy to watch because of this. All that being said, Flo and UWW needing a subcription to watch stunting the growth of the sport is a far bigger issue(Flo in particular is way too expensive, and the stream qulity is so bad it's near unwatchable)
The only people who are really into women’s freestyle are female wrestlers and their family and friends. You may kinda of like it or tolerate it, but all we really want to do is watch high school and collegiate folkstyle and U15-17 boys freestyle and men’s freestyle.
Spot on. No reason it can’t be grouped by style, gender, etc. I won’t watch next year live if it’s this way. I have a family to spend time with.

The elephant in the room is almost all non-NCAA or Olympic content being locked behind a $150 annual or $30 monthly paywall.

Agree wholeheartedly. They are 3 different sporting events. Wrestlers specialize, viewers should have same option.
