this game was much ahead of its time..played it again in 2024..graphics acting gameplay soundtracks...just top notch acting...we were blessed to have the chance and play this trilogy and have such a satisfying ending..thank you!
I was so invested in this scene that when Batman started coughing from the gas I rushed to get the canister in and it exploded and I actually thought that Batman is dead because of me. I felt sick😅 Man this is a beautiful game.
@@m0taro365 I do feel like the ending is pretty solid tho. Like batman cuts everyone off and uses fear toxin and people think he's a ghost. They still could do the cancelled arkham beyond game with robin but I'm happy with them ending on such a high note with knight which isn't perfect but is still one of the best superhero games ever made
Just the set pieces in this game make it equal to Arkham City for me. The timing of knowing how the last game ended and taking the opportunity to one two punch the player with this really emotional scene and a cerebral reveal immediately afterwards. It seemingly came out of nowhere, right at the beginning of the game. The spinning stage with Mark Hamill making me laugh my ass off. Joker laughing in your face while you are changing the battery on the batmobile. And the cleverly overlong final internal confrontation with him. Pure perfection. No amount of derivative tank combat or disappointing boss battles will convince me this game is not a masterpiece on the same level as its predecessor.
Rocksteady devs know what they do... they are preparing an epic JL return, calendar easter eggs are clear "He Will Return". Arkham Batman and Arkham JL are not dead.
The ending sucked but imagine this at the end of the game. It would have been expected, lost a lot of its impact. To me the game ends when you lock away the Joker and get revealed as Bruce, the rest I don't acknowledge.
To be honest, I dislike Arkham Knight. But this scene is without a doubt the most beautiful of the franchise. Bruce and Alfred's "last words" to each other is heart touching all the while Bruce sticks to his guns and risks his life for everyone. And the Music...
@Owenboy360 You seems to have a reasonable opinion I mean the joker blood effect is confusing but the gameplay and combat graphics is really nice and the story is great but needs a bit tweaking I also think that since the bat mobile is in the last Arkham game the developers thought that they should make half of the game based of the bat mobile because it’s the only time we get to use it and I think they should scrap a few unneeded tank missions in my opinion they should add a option that allows the player if they want a tank battle or a battle that involves batman like combat etc I think since the original game director left the new game director kinda made a downfall to Arkham knights story. Even if Arkham knight didn’t have some great stuff the game is still very great I literally don’t care if the Arkham games have a problem I would play all of them since they been part of my childhood since when I was 5 or 6 years old and they are the only games that has entertainment me drastically.
I see where you're coming from, the Batmobile was awesome but it feels like they sorta relied too much on it in some areas. Deathstroke's and Arkham Knight's boss battles being glaring examples. Really wish I can play Origins again.

The only part I agree with is the riddler trophies, holy shit they are so numerous it becomes mind numbing to search for them and solve every puzzle, as for Joker again, it wouldn’t have been as bad if he didn’t play as large of a role in the narrative, and if origins actually committed to using Black Mask

Such an epic somber scene, truly gripping, but they should really have left this for later on in the game instead of near the beginning.
