I thought Jonathan and Danny couldn’t sing at all, but they can hold a tune. They should have solos, it doesn’t matter if they don’t have huge voices, it still would be nice to hear some supporting solo vocals from them.
@@rachelhayes1919 Yes I still try and find his solos. It's okay to see him perform but when you listen to the actual song without the background noise from In crowd you can appreciate it even more. This is my first time right now finding this particular song. I guess we survived boy bands and now we are on the best man band. Lol
I love it when Donnie gets all weeping. It's one of the ways you know that he really cares. Now my heart goes out to Danny. He never gets to hear any praise & his voice sounds fantastic. If you haven't listened to it yet, then you should. It's called "I Need A Melody" . My wonderful daughter used to make fun of me when I would go crazy when a NKOTB song came on the radio. Then she started watching them & other TH-cam clips & now she knows more about them than I do & I've been a big fan since they came out. So I took her to see the Package Tour w/Boyz II Men & 98 Degrees. And when NK came out of stage she went crazy like she had been a fan for the many years I have been a fan. It was an awesome experience to be able to share that moment w/her. Would luv to be able to see them atleast one more time w/her. So 7 years ago she either follows Danny follows or he follows her on Twitter & sent this message to him & actually got a response. She told him "Sorry to bug you Danny, but today's my moms 40th birthday and you are her favorite New Kid. Could she get a Happy birthday? AND THEN few hours later she got this reply back: "Happy birthday" That was all 7 years ago & I have NOT nor will I ever delete that from my phone.

Sure beats writing to the fan club by snail mail. Lol! Did you ever think you would still be a fan and the fan base would be like it is today and that they would get back together and still perform their original songs and even write new ones?! 40's are going to be wonderful for you. I turned 40 recently too. Remember some of the old songs when Danny took the lead vocal or at least had his part? "Valentine Girl", did it for me. Parts of "My Favorite Girl" and who can forget the notorious "Little Drummer Boy" from the Christmas album. I fell in love with his voice at that time and I always loved Christmas and I didn't even know that that was an actual Christmas song at the time. To this day, it's one of my favorite Christmas songs because of him! You can TH-cam it. That particular song has just Danny solo, given his young adult voice at the time, he was already past 18yrs. old, lol! But it was deep and sexy then and. even better now! There is a TH-cam video of the New Kids on the Block virtual cruise ship, the last night of it, it's called glitter night, it shows Donnie talking a little at first and then crying, he was really bummed out because the COVID-19 problems made this year's fan cruise unavailable. I like how he cares for the fans. You can even You tube Danny Valentine Girl and watch videos of him performing that song live in concert.
To me this was the best part of the concert! To see Jon overcoming his anxiety! AWESOME!!!!!
I do like how even when the lights came on, the crowd went wild, he looked around, starts singing, crowd goes wild again, and he still goes!
He surely is getting more confident and overcoming his anxiety. So glad to know that he sings lead on 'Better Days'. He has such an awesome voice.
