This is very random, but Elliot I just had to let you know, that every time my daughter, she is gonna be two years old Feb 28th, hears the ending music to your videos she comes running to see Luna Bear! She barks and says hello to her. She loves dogs and when she hears that music it's her cue to let her know Luna is on screen. Just thought I would share because it was so cute and she loves Luna Bear (who am I kidding, everyone does of course!). I am also looking forward to All the Horses of Iceland and A Magic Steeped In Poison the most for March, I cannot wait, I hope they are amazing. Thanks for sharing!
Omg, I'm 100% the same. I have like, a huge TBR of all the books I want to read then I make what I call a "quarterly" TBR because I have around 20-30 that seem extra interesting to me at this time. Then I make a monthly TBR to try to really narrow it down. THEN I ended up reading like, maybe 5% of the books of any of those lists. 🙄🤷♀️
Best of luck with your March TBR Elliot- I hope you enjoy all the books. I read Gallant recently and it was a good read but definetely Young Adult. The city of dusk is on my TBR to get to soon as I have heard good things about it.
I am so impressed by the amount and quality of your content. I’ve made it a routine to come catch your videos weekly and I appreciate that there always something going on.
I agree with your opinion on authors being able to publish multiple books in a series close together. It’s nice if the author is ready to share that complete story but sometimes the anticipation of the next book in the series is just as exciting 😂😂
I always love it when you gush about Iceland. I know it's way too expensive here, but you should definitely visit again (in a different season for a different experience) if you can.
If you liked Once Upon a Broken Heart, you will adore Caraval! It's so lush, sweet, & whimsical! It is dripping in fantastical elements and is a world I would totally choose to live in!
I loved Caraval, it's all candyfloss and pink skies. I hope you'll like it too. I also intend on reading the Merciful Crow and The Young Elites at some points in the near future.
Neal Shusterman is a great author! His Scythe and Unwind series are both really good! Unwind is sad but interesting. Scythe was interesting too. i can't wait to read more by Shusterman. I think I have 3 more of his books.
I was completely transfixed by the Caraval series. It totally had some issues especially later on, but it was just a great fairy tale. Looking forward to the follow up to Once Upon a Broken Heart.
Have you read Evan Winter's series? It is African inspired fantasy series. The author has released the first two books. I think you would like the series.
Hi there Elliot. How are you doing? I am currently taking a break from reading, because on February 19th, 2022, I finished reading while listening to A Memory of Light, book 14 of the Wheel of Time. So, I had to decompress, since it was such an amazing journey and end, it was rushed, but it was amazing. I am, however, really looking forward to reading the next volume that comes out at the beginning of March, in the series Snow White with the Red Hair. Unfortunately, V E Schwabs' books made me fall asleep, sorry. The one you talked about that is based on a fairy tale is catching my interest, so I may join you for that one.
Ahhh I just finished the first two books in the daughter of smoke bone trilogy and they are fantastic. I know that they focus a lot on a romance but the plot itself and the writing just make it stand out among its other contemporaries. Looking forward to the wrap up!
I totally forgot to preorder the magic steeped in poison book and gallant! done now xD Also yay for the liar's knot buddy read. I will let you know on the 22nd when my audiobook comes in =D have a great birthday month Elle
Enjoy your b-day month trip! Trees are the best! ☮ I love having a set TBR too, especially with a fun game, but I will pick up stuff that I just feel like picking up outside of my set TBR for the month as well.
If all goes well me and my sister will go to Iceland at the end of this year. So fingers crossed. My TBR for March (it's gonna be a lot) Gardens of the moon by Steven Erikson First law trilogy by Joe Abercrombe (found the second book yesterday in a thriftshop, already had part 1 & 3) Brisingr & Inheritance by Christopher Paolini The Century quartet by Pierdomenico Baccalario Mortal Engines quartet by Philip Reeve (books 2,3 and 4 I still need to read) If I have some time maybe I could read Caraval (only have the first book in that series) So basically it's just me finishing some series I already started or would love to start.
Have a great birthday trip to the Redwoods! Giant trees always give me fairy tale vibes. Why We Sleep by Dr. Matthew Walker was a game changer for me and I LOVED it! I've read it twice already. I purchased it after my 1st read so I could annotate it. I wish everyone would read it because sleep is an area that many compromise on (I did) and learning about it was empowering. He's also got a podcast out now and done some interviews that were really interesting. It was a book that helped me on a personal level with my anxiety and stress. I can't say enough good things about it.
I am also the structure loving mood reader. I also have TBRs where I will only read some of the books I mention. I can't wait for Gallant and A Magic Steeped in Poison. I liked The Merciful Crow duology. Caraval wasted my time haha I also do not like it at all.
You should really check out Elfhome series by Wen Spencer. She won Astounding Award for best new writer (back then it was called Campbell Award, essentially a Hugo for new voices), and her writing is so filled with warmth and it heals the soul that I'm really at loss for words to describe ti. Her publisher, Baen Books, had a policy of giving away first book in the series as a free e-book. I don't know if it's still the case, but I think her novels are right up your alley.
I am excited for you to read and finish Tremaire series. I loved it and the first time I watched your video you mentioned reading it and i was very surprised because you are the only TH-camr i know who has read that book. Also i would be picking up caraval with you too. I want to read that trilogy 💜💜💜💜💜
So far in March I will be reading blood of dragons by Robin hobb long way home by Cameron Douglas his memoir Storm of the century by Stephen king the veiled throne The song of Achilles The stationery shop
Elliiot, love your channel. I'm currently on book 12 of "The Wheel of Time", I hope to finish the series soon. Next, I'm going to read " The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue: by V, E. Schwab.
i think it was jess owens who posted the first page of why we sleep on her ig story so i read that and i was like ok nope i'm not reading that book hahaha i got anxious. i don't have a healthy/regular sleeping schedule so maybe in the future, i can read it but not right now lol
I've read both of the nonfiction books you mentioned at the end and they are both depressing 😅 I did find The Girl with Seven Names easier to get through because the writing was much easier to read, Why We Sleep felt VERY dry at times I want to read Once Upon a Broken Heart based on what you've said about, but I hated Caraval, so I've been hesitant 😂
Great channel! Recently read shadow of the fox series because of you and loved it! Do you think you will read the empire of the vampire book by Jay Kristoff?
Ugh I'm like that to I like lists but I'm such a mood reader that my list almost go to waste 🤣 plus I wait now to read a series because I like knowing how things end before I read the rest. I don't like investing my time in let's say two books and get to the 3rd and I HATE the ending. Ya I've done that in the past I was so mad so I wait until all the books are out so ya doesn't really help with the list either.
I liked the story of Caraval but the characters felt forgettable, and because the main characters change in book two I enjoyed that one WAY MORE. So if u liked Caraval that’s awesome but if u were hesitant to continue I strongly advise you to check out the second book
I don't normally comment but I did want to let you know that there have been a number of scientists who have disputed the claims in Why We Sleep. Matthew Walker has never actually responded to the disputes in any meaningful way, not even to point to studies that prove his points. Just wanted to make sure you knew so that you can look into it if you want, and take everything with a grain of salt if you still read it.
@@ebnovels I was going to comment something similar! there's a great episode about it on the podcast Maintenance Phase, and I think it could be great supplemental listening :)

THE YOUNG ELITES!!!!!! IM SO EXCITED FOR THIS!
The Liar's knot was sooo good. Highly recommend.
I also love checklists and TBRs but I'm a darn mood reader.
Omg, I'm 100% the same. I have like, a huge TBR of all the books I want to read then I make what I call a "quarterly" TBR because I have around 20-30 that seem extra interesting to me at this time. I know this is random but I love how you set out this video with three book covers on the screen, it’s very aesthetically pleasing 😍
As far as nonfiction, i suggest ‘Discrimination and Disparities’ (revised and enlarged version) by Thomas Sowell
My TBR for end of February/March is Way of Kings, Cruel Prince, The Girl Who Drank the Moon, and lastly legends
Caraval is one of my favorite series ever. It’s so fun! I hope you love it.
Yesss so excited for magic steeped in poison and the city of dusk I got arcs of both of them and can’t wait to get to them!
Caraval is really good. It's one of the few trilogies that I have actually reread. It's fun.
I am so impressed by the amount and quality of your content. I’ve made it a routine to come catch your videos weekly and I appreciate that there always something going on.
I hope you enjoy these!

So many interesting books.

I really want to read Unwind as loved Scythe. Sounds such an interesting premise. I hope you enjoy the books you manage to pick up.
Good luck! Hope your enjoying your picks
I loved Caraval, it's all candyfloss and pink skies. I hope you'll like it too. I also intend on reading the Merciful Crow and The Young Elites at some points in the near future.

Have you read Evan Winter's series? It is African inspired fantasy series. The author has released the first two books. I think you would like the series.
I'm reading The Violence by Delilah s. Dawson. I also have The God Game checked out from the library.
I will continue to read Noble House by James Clavell, a book I've started today.
For March, I hope to finish For the Wolf, read Empire of Engines and the Forest of Stolen Girls :)
Caraval is really fun though!
Your makeup looks so pretty!
As you liked once upon a broken heart I think you’ll like Caraval. I found them both so fun
I did enjoy Caraval although I did not go on to the sequels. I hope you do too.
Happy birthday! 🎉 Yay for trees!!! Have fun.
Honestly I just hope I find time to read a couple books. Thanks for sharing!!
I personally liked Unwind much more than Scythe. Hope you read and enjoy it! A classic imo lol

I just finished The Merciful Crow duology this month and really liked it a lot!
I really want to read Daughter of Smoke and Bone too. You’re giving me even more enthusiasm to finally read it!

I literally haven't read Why We Sleep (which is on my shelf) because I don't feel ready to be called out...
I am excited for you to read and finish Tremaire series. I loved it and the first time I watched your video you mentioned reading it and i was very surprised because you are the only TH-camr i know who has read that book.

Just wanted to tell you that you’re such a beautiful woman. Any chance you can do a video of how you style your hair pls ? I love it
Dumb question.... When you say "pick up" or "picked up" do you mean to buy or acquire said book or to start reading or read the book?
I liked the story of Caraval but the characters felt forgettable, and because the main characters change in book two I enjoyed that one WAY MORE. So if u liked Caraval that’s awesome but if u were hesitant to continue I strongly advise you to check out the second book
Good luck with your reading this month!
I know this is random have you read any of Dostovsky books ?
I felt betrayed by the author in the worst way for the end of scythe but I would also be interested some of his other works
I really liked Caravel, but the other 2 books did not seem as magical to me.
The girl with seven names .
I don't normally comment but I did want to let you know that there have been a number of scientists who have disputed the claims in Why We Sleep. What’s a TBR?
Don't be too proud about this technological terror you've created - the ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force.
