    Thank-you Alec. It's a nice product, a little pricey, but I'd certainly give it a try. Hey, can I offer an above the water safety tip? Don't hang heavy stuff from your pipes, especially water or gas.

    If you hang your wetsuit inside out first if i doesn't dry completely at least the part touching your skin when you put it on will be dry

    • @AlecPeirceScuba_SeaHunter
      @AlecPeirceScuba_SeaHunter  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Folding it inside out drys the side against your skin first, which is how I like my wetsuit to dry.

    I was taught not to fold wetsuits because it causes a permanent crease along fold. Permanent creases have lost their nitrogen bubbles, and do not insulate as well (besides looking shabby).

    • @AlecPeirceScuba_SeaHunter
      @AlecPeirceScuba_SeaHunter  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For drying a wetsuit, this works fine, for long term storage like a year between dives, hang up or fold flat with nothing on top. It will last for many years with good care.

    I believe where there's the fold it won't really dry up that easily... nice to keep stuff together but for drying efficiency of the main suit, nope.

      If its in the shade there may be a wet line at the fold but overall, dry is nice for these old bones.

    hey i have just received a very old 1964 72 and its a very nice old tank i opened it up and it has a verry light surface rust on the inside do you think it is worth trying to save it.

    • @AlecPeirceScuba_SeaHunter
      @AlecPeirceScuba_SeaHunter  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Light inside surface rust should not be a problem if you want to dive it. Take it to your local dive shop for hydro and VIS. To see what it's like diving old 72's, watch my Vintage Scuba channel for Sea Hunt Forever vintage diving. Lots of divers still use 72's. Good luck.

    I was wondering if it would be possible to create another channel for product promotions vs tech tips.
    Or, at the very least, make it clear in the title that it's not a tip but a promotion for a product, regardless if it's a paid promotion or not.

    • @AlecPeirceScuba_SeaHunter
      @AlecPeirceScuba_SeaHunter  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Just mixing it up. If you read all the comments, divers want more/less/none of anything i talk about. Half my viewers are in North America and have access to lots if info and products, the other half are international and really appreciate new ideas they don't know about. Lots are dive operators, liveaboard crews, etc and email mail how glad they are to know about different things their clients probably know about. It's all for eduction so i'll keep it under the one channel for now. I review very few products each year but this was different and to me also useful. Thanks for the feedback and for watching.

      @@AlecPeirceScuba_SeaHunter Maybe it's in my head but it just feel like the number of product reviews has increased drastically in recent past. I personally enjoyed the more technical approach of your past videos which made me follow your chanel and I'm always disapointed when I get a video that, to me, feels likes a paid promotion. But I understand that you have to do videos for a pleathora of people and I'm glad some people enjoy that kind of content. All the best to you.

      @@AlecPeirceScuba_SeaHunter Hi Alex, I saw that but the C-Monsta on their website is US$35. On Amazon it's $89.21 which is usury don't you think? Given the exchange rate, it should be closer to $50 or slightly less. I can't see paying over $100 including tax for a hanger.

      @DarR1299 hey buddy, we tried shipping to Canada from our US warehouse but it was really expensive and we had issues so we have just left it up to Amazon to ship to you guys. It would be great to make these more affordably available to but it is just a small family company so I try to keep headaches to a minimum and to make sure that whatever we do, our service is good.
      The Amazon price listed is just the US Amazon price plus shipping.
      I hope that explains things.

    come on now Alec ... wash your wet suit with warm water and a little baby shampoo or that Expensive wet suit soap the shops sell - rinse it out good and now get ready to dry it out ! turn your wet suit inside out and do not fold it in 1/2 ! use a old wooden hanger and drape a old towel over it to hang it up
    IF you really want to dry out your gloves and boots - buy a boot drier with 4 pegs to hang your gloves and boots on - first fold over the top 1/2's of the gloves and boots . ... the hood - make sure to turn it inside out before you hand it up . Now you have a clean n dry wet suit that doesn't smell like someone peed in it !

      All good points but for most folks, they want one item to do it all without extra shopping or work. I built a dry suit stand with blower (see my video on that), but this is an all-in-one which i like.
