To all of those considering purchasing a home site in North Port: The market is as hot as I have ever seen in 40 years selling SW Florida real estate. There were approximately 1150 sites available through the mls in August and now only 588 as of today. Prices are rising and availability is getting thin. Many of the sites available are far from electric and costly to bring in power. If on the fence, ACT NOW!!!! can still get some decent ones under 10k but many are more than that. Call as there are many factors to consider when buying.

These are a variety of different builders in the area simply to give an idea of the volume of building. Market is absolutely crazy right now, so even more houses going up everywhere and the lot market is on fire. Houses are generally made of block and stucco these days. Have been some homes built of wood or poured concrete, but have not seen any poured walls in a long time and few built with wood. Costly to do poured walls. Thanks for your comments.

We first moved to North Port in the 70's. It's crazy to see how the town went from a little over a couple thousand back then to over 70k now.
