Mam symport and antiport is the part of active transport or passive transport???? if it part of active transport then why it is acording to concentraion gradiant if it part of passive transport why it use energy. ncert included it in facilliated diffusion and please tell me about uniport and what is its(uniport's) type active or passive
They are polar molecules which cannot go directly though they are going from high to low concentrations so they need some channel or facility to go inside or outside thats why they are included in facilitated diffusion. It is passive diffustnot active transport only they are going through some channel. Uniport is when polar molecules goes in only one direction either outside to inside or inside to outside and whereas in antiport two different molecules goes in opposite directions. I hope now it is clear
