As a young HighSchooler I was at their infamous Hamilton Place concert in the early 80's. The opening act, a useless band called 'Cats can Fly" were over an hour late for their stage appearance. When they finally showed up, the stupid idiots decided to do a 20 minute sound check. The packed crowd erupted, tore up the first 6 rows of bolted down seating and threw it on the stage causing the band to run for their lives. The Radio MC and Promoter at that point tried to shutdown the show but the crowd was too pissed and the cops were called. Eventually, things calmed and Ian and Company appeared on stage after the cleanup and performed a very short mind blowing 4 song set before the 11 pm curfew. Just so you know Ian spent his childhood in Hamilton with his Mother so the concert was special for him and we were very lucky to acquire tickets as they were literally the hottest rock act in the world at the time and we were seeing them in a little 2000 seat theatre in the Hammer
Thank you so much for uploading this! I was standing pretty close to you, front centre at the rail, I was too busy loosing my shit and dancing to film and wished I git some footage! This is awesome and such good quality
