the difference between no gladiia and gladiia is so crazy. It's what you'd expect with him being a crusher and all, but seeing it in action is wild crusher was literally the perfect fit for AH
Crazy how people keep complaining about his first talent "wtf he only heals 100 HP when hurt trash talent" when it's literally the devs giving him a pseudo DEF stat that makes him survive better against trash mobs compared to other Crushers (and it also heals on DoT effects like Poison Haze/Originium Tile/Talulah Fire/etc and works against Arts/True damage)

So his talent is a decent version of Mudrock's talent that applies to every hit, his damage though is very good. Balanced but not that OP...which is kinda my thing.
His dmg Mutipler in his s3 alone is extremly high (310%-330% in his s3) he also having extremly high HP and ATK ( almost 7K and 1,6K attack) with a 2nd talent that give him 200 attack and 1000 Max HP. If he get the condition done (Which is kill 9 mob) making him easily reach 6k-6K5 attack with M3 in his s3. Tbh his self sustain is extremly bad while being a crusher, he only having 100-160 green def in his talent 1 and that all about his self-sustain. Without Gladia he just a decent nuker with Top tier DPS and the ability to Teleport to others title. If the enemy not stun he just tank a few hit due to high af HP until retreat back to the first title. Without a healing chars he is quite bad due to his trash self-sustain while being 1 of the worst class in game (Even when retreat after kill the boss he may just truely Retreat due to bad self sustain). That being said without Gladia, with her he is a monster at every aspect. Lucky Gladia is also a strong while also being a free unit. Using Ulpianus with Gladia is a force when you want to use him. In the others hand Skadi and AH gang isn't force to bring, his attack and HP is high enough but using all of them at 1 may create a soulborn Boss for our team.
So yeah, he’s a pretty strong dude. Talent 2 is unclear for if it applies to base stats or not, but assuming it does… S1 is basically better Hoe S1, minus the sustain. The Auto SP recovery triggers every 3rd attack and deals 5k(6.6k with fishe gang) per hit, also dragging enemies as well with extended range. S2 has a long windup time, especially for a Crusher, but with Spec2 Y3 it goes down to a bit under 47s. After that he deals 5k (5.7k) DPH, 2k (2.7k) DPS, and has 12k HP (16k with a regen of 558, around 23k effective HP). And the improved heal on hit. He’s like Blaze S2 but on mega steroids, minus the extra tile. S3 is the real deal, 25s downtime and uptime makes it cycle fast. He throws an initial nuke of 11k (13k), stuns for 6s, and attacks 9 (11) times for 7k (8.4K), for a total damage of around 73k (97k). And he has 13.7 HP (17.4K with 611 regen, 25k eHP). Hoederer for comparison deals around 2k dps and a total damage of around 134k on average. I don’t think Hoederer is fully dead, because his longer duration and consistent stun allows him to deal with tankier bosses that Ulpianus just can’t kill in one cast, and Hoederer is already killing almost every boss with one S3 and a medic anyways. However, Ulpianus definitely hinders his niche to a very narrow window.
Don’t forget S3 lets him take the initiative by teleporting forwards to dish out damage, then retreat back to his original tile to let the skill recharge to nuke and stun again The teleport offers so much versatility

His HP regeneration being flat amount instead of percentage almost ruined his kit, thankfully his skill damage and the fact it also recover form non-enemy damage made up for it. Overall he's seems really strong, not as much as mlynar or degen but still above many 6* guards especially his S3 can helidrop and have a nice uptime.
They definitely designed him with AH in mind, and even without that he generally looks like a more cohesive hoederer Definitely not a must pull by any means but he is strong enough that the choice is yours
Each time you knock down an enemy, your HP will be increased by 120 and your attack power by 30 , which can be stacked up to 9 times. Other [Deep Sea Hunter] operators will receive a 50% increase
He can tank Patriot's first fase with Gladia module. He has ~5500 ATK with S2 (Unlimited duration) and Abyssal Hunters buffs and with S3 he has 7000+ ATK (Not a single operator has more than 4k ATK on its own, except Penance with S3M3). Gladia is free unit, so her alone is enough to make Ulpianus OP. Without Abyssal Hunters buffs he still has good damage with skills, but weaker than Hoederer S3 I guess. If this isn't OP than I don't know what is
the showcase makes him look weak. which he is thats true. on his own like the showcase does anyways. just clear a bit of under tides stages and you get yourself an overpowered unit tbh
To be fair, when do any of these generic showcases on the same levels make any unit look strong when half the time they can’t even block all 4 butchers? I think his only weak skill is S1, but it even it has pull shenanigans you can do with it S2 is a strong laneholding skill that also massively bumps up his survivability S3 lets him teleport and dish out tons of damage. This showcase didn’t use it properly but he can tank a hit from phase 1 Patriot with S3 and kill with a second cast in other better showcases I’ve seen

6000 HP. + Double max HP up from Skadi and Specter Y Module. And Also 3.5 HP Regen + 30% damage Reduction. Pretty Strong
