Chinese EP37: understanding the phonetic pomponents would help you best guessing the pronunciation of Chinese characters. This episode takes examples of commonly seen phonetic components 巴/丁/青/门/生/星/包 with variety of radicals to demonstrate the possibilities. It comes up with a creative meyhod of training: bring several phonetic pomponent-constructed characters into one sentence (even with sense-making meanings)!

@@ChinesewithJiayi First one of your videos as i eat breakfast, then 2 short comprehensible input stories. Then I jump into my classes online for about 1-2 hrs, then i jump on Du Chinese to read some stories. Been hitting up Hellotalk to meet random people to practice my conversation. Then randomly during the middle of the day i watch little fox chinese as I do some other task and focus in when they say something i am not use to.
