LOL, definitely. I think of myself as an empath, and just this morning, while I was walking down the streets of Geneva, I passed a lady who sneezed as she walked by me. I spent the next five minutes debating whether I should have said 'bless you' to her, even though I didn’t know her and we were both pretty far apart. What a life.
Jean shopping has always been sheer hell for me and yes if you find the comfy ones you've won the lottery!
I have 3 daughters and always told them if the garment doesn't fit it's not you it's the the garment! There are so many differences in sizes manufacturing and sizes.

Yes I too have that ‘weird empathic thing’ . I often fill in a back story for strangers. I think that is why I like reading so much; I become the character I’m reading about and feel their emotions as if they’re my own.
I completely understand what you mean. When I’m walking out in public I try to focus on the buildings or trees around me or else I get completely distracted if I focus on someone. Being downtown, it’s not always an easy thing to do because there’s always a lot going on. 😅 I get completely overwhelmed when I go into the grocery store because there’s no way to avoid everyone. When there’s big sporting events or right before a holiday, forget about it (said in a New Yorker accent 😂) can’t escape it. Hope you have a wonderful day!! Thank you, Gemma 😊
I think I am an empath. I was in a cafe sitting opposite a couple. He was really being nasty to her and she was trying not to cry. I got really cross and willed her to stand up to him. Suddenly she stood up and told him to get lost and walked out. I worry about my friends a lot. To change my energy I paint.X
Hi Gemma, yes to the jeans and well any clothing trying on cubicles really. They are challenging. Always regret not buying two pairs of the best fit fabulous jeans later. Or shoes... I get drained very quickly being out & about, and feel as though I should help people who look sad, but I'm trying to fix my saviour complex. The worst is when I give some change to a homeless person, then beat myself up for not giving them more, or not giving them my coat. I always feel as though I should do more.

This brought back memories from years past, when you did it on your iPhone, nice. Empaths habitually do strange things that make people shake their heads. They don't mean to do it, it's just their way of protecting themselves. I speak from experience, way too much....... Oh.... well you know what they say "Hate us in the morning, love us at night". I don't think I'm an empath. I do sense bad vibes but on the whole because I've been through so much and no one and I mean no one has helped me, cared or listened I'm in live and let die mode

I hate jeans shopping. However, I hate leggings and I will not wear them. After a successful jeans procurement I feel invincible and I really should celebrate. It's an ordeal.
Quite a few years ago I was taking a walk in my local park the Saturday after Thanksgiving when I encountered two children; older sister and young brother inappropriately dressed. They had on their school uniforms with no coats. They were walking with their heads down and looking embarrassed. I asked the sister if they were OK and if they needed anything. Could I call anyone for them? She said they were fine. Think she said they lost their key but her parents would be home soon. I didn't want to hassle or frighten her but I wasn't leaving it as it stood. I did call the police. I think they were deliberately locked out of the house. Even if my instincts were wrong about being locked out of the house the police could provide a warm car to wait in until their parents returned.
Not a jeans person, but have leggings dilemmas 😂. I sometimes create scenarios when people watching in a cafe, but more frequently (and most most embarrassing) if I'm at the vet and someone has lost a pet I get very upset and tearful or if someone tells me a sad story about the loss of a pet.
I am an empath and an introvert. As such I try to get out and do the things I need to as early as possible in the morning to avoid as much human contact as possible. I don't like the way the strange,foreign energy seeps into my own energy field. I've mentioned this so many times but my grand water trine is a blessing and a curse.
For me it’s just I don’t want to be bothered by small talk.
