Hardware utilization of 2024 is 10 times better. Helicopters finally behaves like helicopters, I'm very impressed. I can finally enjoy GotFriends Mini 500!! As with 2020 they released this sim in a very early state, we get to be beta testers now for years to come sadly... The Career is a mess, constantly getting dinged for doing things wrong because its broken and buggy, its still kinda fun but yeah, frustrating, and getting treated like an airplane in a helicopter is not fun. Granted, sometimes airports will treat helicopters like planes for different reasons, it does happen.
It's great to see another post from you! I have a lot of respect for your videos - keep going please! I recently posted a "busy Monday evening on VATSIM" in the Cowan R66 but that was on MSFS2020. I've done one buggy, but fun, video in the 2024 Cabri. I'll enjoy seeing 2024 grow from here. It's possible I may never sign into 2020 again!
By the way, in 2024, even when there's not a parking spot defined, you can click on the ground and ask to start "shut down" or "ready for takeoff" - another small, but welcome, improvement over 2020.
Cool video! Can't believe they can't animate a body for the pilot! haha Of all the details, they can't even give a fella a pair of legs or hands on the controls!? lol
Thank you for the MSFS2024 helicopter review. Nice flying! I was wondering if you could share which flight control stick and throttle hardware you are using. Cheers!
Even though I want to fly it, after taking off it freezes around itself and crashes to the ground. How did you adjust the joystick settings on the helicopter?
Yeah, it took a long time setting up the controls. As I mentioned I couldn't find the collective axis among the primary flight blabla of the helicopter. I'd say the collective is pretty primary 😂. Anyway I changed the menu language to english and then used the search function to find the collective axis. You may have to revert the axis...hope that helps
Amazing video. A quick question, how do you trim H125? For somehow FTR is not working in MFS2024, since I have a normal joystick it's quite painful to fly H125 with consistent pressure on the joystick.
Cowan was never involved, this is the most true to right representation of h-125 in any sim in terms of of 3d model, the flight dynamic model is 2nd best after dreamfoil from xplane
Glad to see your back! Have been absolutely loving the new sim and the helicopters we have now. Even as buggy as it is lol

He’s back !!! Can’t believe they didn’t model a transponder on the H125. What a joke! Xplane for ever !
I will wait few months before trying fs2024, I'm expecting more stability and wonder how will be the rescue missions with helicopters...

If you like to fly with the helicopter, try VR; that is really insane.

@@OrionRox Hi, I use a joystick with no centering spring. Don't know whether MSFS24 has a solution for this.
@@OrionRox haven't checked: Did they implement force feedback?
Im haveing some issues landing helicopters no idea y i just cant seem to decent nd a slow base but my speed and altitude just keeps climping
@@IrishCloverGaming make sure you have no double bindings in your control setup. It happens easily.
@thenerdyhelisimmer4608 I'm on Xbox using controller

"True to life scenery"??? Since when is Sydney smack bang in the middle of what looks like an expansive English forest?
The vegetation is a bit overkill on the city, but Sydney IS rather green when you fly over it: th-cam.com/video/t8JOHX8dmC0/w-d-xo.html
