To be honest I sometimes feel like I’m not living my life to the fullest, and the fact that time just flies away makes me afraid that I will regret many things because right now it feels like I’m only one moment from being a grandfather and death awaits. If I had the possibility to stop time and rewind I would’ve done it a long time ago. But at the same time, what purpose would it fulfill? I believe that everything has a purpose and we somehow will never understand how nor why things are like they are right now. But some people will say that is the purpose of our lives on earth.
Thank you mum n dad for making me in the 70's so I got to witness these songs first hand. I love hearing this song, it also reminds me of a holiday in Gran Canaria in 98.
A couple of Laura's songs are deep. like "Gloria" and this one "self control", back when this came out I was all about my reckless night life and work or food or tomorrow were pointless necessities to party ,for the night was life, I still love the song even though its not a truth of mine any more

This comment maybe is not important to you at all, i just need to write it for myself: when i was young i used to listen to this song alot while playing gta riding my car near Washington beach, years passed and i forgot the game. yesterday i was sitting beside my 8 yrs old nephew playing on her computer and i saw the game i can't describe in words how i felt playing it again after all these years, here i'm at 4 am listening to it while remembering childhood memories. Thank you, gta for the happy memories i got bcz of you.
