    Ciao Wolfgang,
    I got an error I couldn't explain. When it comes to copy the Sketch.1 to create the Sketch.2 and than modified its supprt, I get an error message which says me that "one or more constaints are not compatible with the resultant geometry".
    Actually I followed step by step your procedure, by I keep to have the same error.
    Vincenzo

    Hallo Hr. Walden. Das ist eine sehr umfangreiche Übung. Ich habe eine Bitte: Können Sie ein spezifisches Video, wo Sie den breitesten Befehle von GSD in Tiefe darstellen und erklären, und zwar den "Sweep" Befehl? Ich habe nicht spezifisches im Kopf, was Sie zeichnen sollten, vielleicht, etwas wie hier.

      Sorry, momentan habe ich absolut keine Zeit und es sind schon sehr viele Videos mit allen diesen Befehlen in meinem Kanal zu finden. Z.B. der Stossfänger/Rear Bumper oder der Brennraum, etc.

    what is the significance of creating those geometrical sets for curves, sketches etc sir....?

    • @wolfgang.walden.cad.training
      @wolfgang.walden.cad.training  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In generative shape design you need to keep the order of the elements yourself - because the software doesn´t care - so to get some stucture into your model you have to use geometrical sets (folders)

      Do you have a drawing?

    • @bullgoshit
      @bullgoshit 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      no sir.
      in specific I don't have any such drawing.
      can we creat it by looking at any 3d photo of it?
      I just wanted to know how step by step you think,
      and the procedure that you follow when it comes to surfacing in catia.

      Swapnil Pawar I suppose you could do it yourself? Because with only a photo it is just guesswork.

      I would advise you to watch my Catia v5 Basics Videos ;) go to Tools->Options->Infractructure->Part Infrastructure->Display - there you will see as slider which controls the size

    Thanks for your video, it is very helpful. I have some troubles when I used it. Could you teach me to solve those?
    1. I compared Catia and CImatron, in Cimatron I can cut many planes at the same time, but in Catia I cannot do that. Can you teach me command to cut many planes at once.
    2. When I open files which are saved by *.igs and it has many parts but I cannot separate them well because they are in the same a folder. Please, help me. Thanks!

      1. Hi, sorry I ´ve never heard of "Cimatron" before. Could you please explain: "cut many planes at once".
      2. Again, what is your problem? I would need a sample file.
