I am working on these miniatures being part of a "gonzo mutants" campaign, which also uses some of the Armageddon humans - but not too many. They remind me of miners - the headlamp hats - and so I imagine them digging amongst the ruins for tech and "shiny" things. Amongst the factions opposing them are the Roosters/Chickens, as well as some low tech pig people (I think your orcs fit the bill for this. Early days yet, but oftenn its your minis that get my imagination going
One of my favorite scifi skirmish miniatures games, Farthest Star by Four Color Studios, has a playable species called the Averax, which are flightless birds and receive better perception and senses and slightly faster movement. It looks like these guys would fit in perfectly!
