I was 15 when the LP was released, it was also the first one I have heard from them, it blew my mind, Liz F voice is so powerful and the dark tones seem perfect to me at the time. Also never heard anything like it before it was really unique at the time.
It is a masterpiece, the first time I heard it I was hypnotized and it completely redefined what I thought of music, singing and guitar playing, such a superb record.
A lot of people like this one best. It used to be mine, back in the day, but I've been in heavy listening mode lately and I am actually choosing Four Calendar Cafe as my current favorite, and, those more pop records of theirs ARE dark. FCC is a healing record and a reconciliation of 13 years of relationship pain. Her songs are mostly about that, I've been listening to them for years and just recently discovering that.

I love Treasure but in my opinion Victorialand just shades it as being their best.
