  • Julian Konzern was a prominent figure in the beyblade verse having a bey that roatted right and left. Just what made him fall down a dark path and abandon his friends?

Him being completely destroyed by Damian is one of the most iconic fights in the Metal Saga. Still, his fight with Dashan was a good way to close out his character arc.

Julian was such a fun antagonist. Really well written for how long he was active.

Say whatever you want about Julian being a snob, but he was genuinely skilled blader and one of the strongest new characters in the Metal Saga (along with Dashian and Damian), being one of the very few characters in the series to actually beat Gingka initially, and unlike Damian, he didn't use an arrangement to get powerful or use scummy methods to be so skilled
I also think Julian has one of the most underrated and overlooked character arcs/developments in Masters and having his snobby worldview changed, started with his pride being wounded with Gingka, Damian completely shattering it, to being given a reality check and wake up call in his battle with Dashian, and in that loss, eventually being more resilient. He actually came out a better and humbled man. In a twisted way, he needed these losses. The lessons learned from his character about failure were honestly my favourite lessons from the show growing up

Julian is my favorite character in Masters, he has a great character and has the best character devolpment in Masters, they did a great job with him and his character with him being prideful about everything and wanting to be the very best he can be in everything and how he always pushed himself. He’s a very skilled and talented blader because of that. He also has a very kick ass Bey, with it being an all black design, the whole knight thing and being able to spin both ways ,having the strongest armor and it was the first bey other than L Drago that could do left rotation, and it has a kick ass name Gravity Destroyer. Julian in his Prime was unstoppable, he was deflecting special moves out here like it was nothing and ones from the main character at that, and his special moves were so Op with eyes of medusa and Black Excalibur, and he got even stronger after his lose with Gingka, since he has the determination to be the best and strives because of that. It hurt to see him lose to Damian, but it showed more of his character, and showed how trying to be the best and using beyblade to achieve that can break you and take everything away from you. I liked how it showed Julian’s character under all of Julian’s arrogance, Covidence and ego, and showed us more about him becuase of that. It also showed how in the end he realized he didn’t lose everything he still has his bey, his friends and had more than a broken sword. He kinda needed that loss since he came out of it a better man.

His confidence arrogance and ego were one thing but seeing him emotional and seeing him get embarrassed was sad but poetic in a way it let us know that even though you're powerful somebody will always be powerful fraud or not

One thing I like about Julian and Dashan in this season is that they're strict on losing based on their association's reputations. Dashan had his loss against Gingka and given the fact that the Wang Su Zhong members are the top students of Beylin Temple, He believe the loss against Gingka shamed it's legacy. Thanks to Chao Xin, he learned that you can always try again. Julian on the other hand is a different story as we know this by if he loses(Which he does), his fortune is gone and taken over by Hades. No one's there to help him out with him having to join Hades.

The way that Julian got kicked around the entire battle by Damien and then forced to say I am weak got me. After that, I lost all respect for Julian. Never in my life in my gonna say, I am weak to another man or anyone. Needless to say, Julian needed to get kicked off of his high horse.

He's easily one of the most fraudulent Bladers we've seen despite his strength. He's basically the antithesis to the message that Gingka learned in Koma Village and championed throughout the show. *Is that a bad thing? No,* it actually added to his intrigue as an antagonist because his mode of "evil" wasn't Malice like the Dark power, but Hubris instead. In his fight with Gingka he was taught that natural Strength/Talent alone isn't enough to win against everybody. His Fights with Damian and Dashan taught him that the strength of Blader is not determined by victory, but by how many times he can get back up after a loss. So when I call Julian a fraud it's me "calling a spade, a spade" and not a knock against his character.

Also agree but hes not a "fraud"
Dude was legitimately a threat and only by plot his losses were there. Starbreaker was the final step in the world championships so they had to power creep Excalibur
Also Dashaan defeating bim felt earned as we see him training so he could easily have closed the gap by the end of metal masters
Dude was just written to be misguided and power hungry easy fix in the end
But honestly great development in a different way then expected for Julian
