im crying as i write this, but i just wanted to say that you've changed me ye. both of us are going thru shit right now and i know you dont know me but you've gotten me through struggles that i thought id never be able to get out of. The moments that ive been alone, you've been there, the moments ive cried, the moments been angry, the moments ive been happy, the moments ive been at peace, the moments where my hope was nearly lost, the moments that i had hope and faith in life. Every emotion ive experienced ive experienced it with you, every time i hear your music it feels like i talk to you, that is what no other person can do to me, not kendrick, not cole, not tyler, as much as i love them, you mean the most, not just as an artist but as a human being. dont let satan take you kanye, be strong, love everyone, be safe, man. I'm not there yet to say that i love and care about myself, but you've allowed me to make so much progress, you saved me from so much darkness, you been there through all of it, with me, so, my brother, Lets praise God together, because its gonna be okay. God's not finished, the Devils a lie, and now hes finished. Thank you kanye, for everything. My kids are going to know about you.
Had two funerals this weekend. this song was on repeat. it feels like a warm much needed hug. honestly the whole album made it so much easier for me to make it through this dark time.
yes. My fiance and my grandma both passed this September. I thought I was never gonna be able to listen or enjoy it because everything reminds me that they’re gone. music can help align the mind.. I appreciate this body of work so much.
That’s so true. I’m 40 and I’m a Lightworker but I’m also a Christian and It all feels right. I was under spiritual attack right when this song came out and I snapped outta that shit. I know who I am. I know right from wrong. We all need each other. Let’s unite, it’s time, we all love one another, it doesn’t matter where you are from, there is no high vibration than LOVE!! Love love
It's crazy to hear how much this song resonates with so many people to the point you can't help but break down and cry opening yourself to all the pain and love we feel in this song. Bless you all!
It’s really sad because I feel like Kanye West just gets misrepresented so much. I really hope that one day decades from now people will look back on the productions that he made and see them for the true artistry that they were. He’s troubled like all of us but he has the ability to express himself to his music something that a lot of us are jealous of. Not gonna lie I went to church with my mom the week after the album dropped. Kinda invoked something lost in me. I appreciate him for that. Makes me closer with my mom cuz she’s very religious and goes every Sunday. Thanks Kanye. 👌🏻
Millions of people appreciate him for his greatness now despite all the bashing he gets in the media. People can say what they want but this man is helping to bring God back into our culture at a time we need him most!
He’s a musical genius. But he struggles with Bipolar disorder which causes his outbursts and controversy. He says the bipolar meds blocks his creativity.
@@steph1970 People say he’s bipolar to try and make him seem crazy. Ye ain’t crazy, he has more conviction than most people and refuses to play by the nonsensical rules our culture puts forward.
The opening spot with Donda, his mom, smiling over him in heaven as he floats through darkness makes me cry so much because it reminds me so much of my mom in heaven that I never got to know.
DONDA is a classic album to me. Never in my life ever listened to a longer run of bangers than jail to believe what I say, off Donda. It's scary how talented Kanye is. He can create beauty and meaning and encapsulate into music.
This song is called 24 because it’s in dedication to Kobe Kaycyy confirmed this in a recent interview that Kanye cried making this 3 days after Kobe passed
Being raised in the church, gospel hits me harder than any genre to this day. You give me a good organ and I'm already starting to tear up. But being told "we're gonna be okay" during this period of my life broke me down completely. I heard this for the first time and sobbed in my car at an intersection.
Hope your back in church my brother been saved since 1988 never looked back my Lord Jesus quinched my thirst and feeds my soul daily he's love is undeniable 🙏
was raised catholic. became an atheist in my early teens. became agnostic in my late 20s. life of pablo dropped and then sunday services which at the very least, showed me the light. here in my mid life, i have discovered, god is king.
I took a 2+ hour drive last weekend to Atlanta to visit some friends. first time listening to any of this album, man that was the most emotional car ride of my life. I sat there on the highway reflecting about my soul and my own mortality for 2+ hours.
I’m 21 and I wanna tell you personally that God is real. I use to be in the party crowd taking all kinds of hard drugs but one night as I poured my heart out to Jesus I personally witnessed supernatural changes in my life that I couldn’t explain. In that moment I felt such a powerful feeling of love come upon me that I began to cry. Over the next few days my desires were changing. All I felt was joy for weeks and I knew this wasn’t coming from me. Everyone’s testimony is different but if you seek the Lord with an open heart and without pride God will be there and open your eyes.
2:30 “I know you alive and God’s not finished!” Man, you can just hear Kanye’s love, sadness and admiration for his mother in those lyrics and delivery. Such a powerful set of feelings I think everyone can relate to.
My mom had a cancer in january, and i'm currently looking for a job as a dev, in the middle of the process i started to listen kanye and consequently listened donda, when i 1st heared 24 it really hit so hard that i can't even describe, were probably one of the most true ever tears i had, i love this song so much that i can't describe
For all my brothers and sister that come back to this song to simply hear “We Gonna Be Okay” and “Gods Not Fished” just know that we are gonna be okay and god is most definitely not finished with you.
Without a single doubt in my mind, Ye is one of the (if not THE most) influential artists of our generation. The first time I heard this song I wept, my mom had passed away 3 weeks before. "We gonna be okay" is just what I needed to hear on such a dark moment of my life. Bless Donda, bless Kanye, bless you Mom, hope you're resting now, the rest of my life will be about honoring yours.
Kanye is the most powerful , influential and intelligent man ! Media is trying to bring him down but God is with him and his talents are recognized regardless of they poison they spill
I believe Kanye was able to take his raw, unrefined heart towards God, and pour it out using his God-given gift of expression through sound. What you're responding to is a man giving his absolute all to someone bigger than himself, the one person that saved him from himself, from mental destruction. That's my Jesus.
My cat got diagnosed with cancer yesterday and they said she'll only live a couple more months. I listened to this song with her this morning and broke down. Thank you Kanye for being able to create such beautiful and emotional music, I needed this.
Some Christians argue about animals in heaven. But it's simple to me brother, Ask and ye shall receive ". All our friends will be together again. Keep your head up, keep your love and faith strong.
Tbh as much I would love for Kanye to keep making music, he should’ve just called it a career with Donda as his final album. It woulda been the perfect closer to his amazing career.

I’ve been dealing with anxiety and depression for the first time in my life recently. The feeling of falling down to my knees with no strength to get up has been such a tough part of my experience. im crying as i write this, but i just wanted to say that you've changed me ye. both of us are going thru shit right now and i know you dont know me but you've gotten me through struggles that i thought id never be able to get out of. It’s really sad because I feel like Kanye West just gets misrepresented so much. I really hope that one day decades from now people will look back on the productions that he made and see them for the true artistry that they were. He’s troubled like all of us but he has the ability to express himself to his music something that a lot of us are jealous of.

DONDA is a classic album to me. Never in my life ever listened to a longer run of bangers than jail to believe what I say, off Donda. It's scary how talented Kanye is. He can create beauty and meaning and encapsulate into music.

I love this whole album for that reason. Whenever times are tough, I'm definitely listening to Donda and Jesus Is King.
Being raised in the church, gospel hits me harder than any genre to this day. You give me a good organ and I'm already starting to tear up. But being told "we're gonna be okay" during this period of my life broke me down completely. I heard this for the first time and sobbed in my car at an intersection.
