- Panasonic AG-UX180 HIGH SENSITIVITY mode TEST
Filming some fast moving radio controlled cars, at night, under flood lights. Quite challenging. Recording at 2160 UHD at 60FPS. Set shutter to 1/120. Iris wide open. Switched on HIGH SENS mode and had to up the gain to 12db to get required brightness. Scene file 3 (Spark).
Thanks for the reply... as long as the flickering is not something from a camera shortcoming.
Can you confirm that shooting other stuff its not there?
Thinking about buying the Ux180
Thanks
Ed
Look on my 'Essential RC' channel and you will find lots of my recent work is shot with the AG-UX180. It was definitely due to the type of lighting they had. Cheers Dom (Essential 4K)
so whats the flickering in the video about? Is that do to the lighting? or the 1/120 shutter?
Fairly sure it was to do with the lighting Ed. Tried a few things to reduce it to no avail.
He's recording in 60. If he would drop down to 24 or 30, it would get rid of the flickering. Its because lights operate on 60hz. Common problem.
What about the focus? Thanks!
