Hey there! Sorry for the incredibly late reply, but you could! If another player blocks your ability to use the Yellow boy placard, you can still fill the role of the yellow player by using that yellow card in your hand. Of course, any player that has the yellow boy in their hand could do the same. Thanks for watching!

That is correct. You may extort the players that are negotiating even if you aren't otherwise involved in the deal.

You don't need to add the flipping transitions! I think it'll be nicer if you just do it with transitions that feels invisible.
