It hatched first then grew and (possibly) ate it's mother hence the ripped skin and flesh. Mind controlling doesn't sound right. The whole story of that person was just giving a reference to one of Pokemon's Stories so I believe it isn't related to lore base stuff and mind controlling does sound lore based.

I think i know why theres a giant dead cephalops its because the giant cephalops laid eggs and the cephalops is trying to find a good spot for the eggs to not be hunted by predators but since the door in umv was closed im guessing that the cephalops didnt get any food so some of the egg hatched (the one we can catch) but since theres no food the mother cephalops let the cephalops eat her for the food of the cephalops so thats why its dead the cephalops eat their own mother that my guess why the giant cephalops it dead

Go to him and he will talk about an island that you see in the distance. He says something about nobody going there. But he also says that there maybe some cool loomians there. I know I’m extremely late, but I’ve seen people saying how Starla may work like Cosmog. I can see it happening, but I think it would work like a different “legendary” from the Pokémon universe. For anyone that watched the Pokémon X&Y anime, or perhaps the movies, you’d know about Squishy, or Zygarde. I won’t go into depth about what all happens, but I’d think Starla would be a piece of a Loomian, or Person, that has to do with the Corrupted Loomains, and perhaps the stone tablet.
The ghost story of the spuirit woman is from pokemon indigo league about the ghastly on the pier and the two boys aka james and brock got brain ded by the ghost and it was at a pier and her true love went on. A dangerous trip to war and nevr came back anyone this this related?

the thing with the chephalops mother in 3:29 is it actually says in its entry that the babies feast on the mothers corpse when they hatch, and the diffrent frill is bc its been eaten by the babies, also explaining why the mother is half decomposed,so yeah, the cephalops in there ate its mom..

Notice how around 4:44 that there is only one egg that fully has the top off and only leaving the bottom shell, so that means that the cephalops we encounter was the only one to hatch so far. The other empty eggs may have been infertile and got a hole in them or some sort of sea predator thing busted them open and at the baby inside. And since this loomian thing has laid eggs that means it has found a mate which means there is more than 1 of those loomian things before the babies.
Ok so the spirit woman story was based off of one of Pokemon's stories. It was literally just the same tbh. I'll try to basically describe it. People say that a woman haunts the pier at night. She waits for her love to come back from a battle (war thingy idk). The one she loved died in the battle and she is still waiting. She then turns into stone and that is all I remember. Brock and James fall in love with the woman but then gets cursed I think. It was a reference to the first version of Pokemon. I love the reference but some people don't know it which is completely fine. It isn't lore based though, that may be a little disappointing. There are 2 more things I want to say 1. The story sounds extremely wrong so it a little of it may sound bull crap (not the stone part). 2. I forgot what I was about to say about point 2 lol.
The dead thing is a full grown Cephalops that built the Lagoona Lake tunnels, it is stated by one of the scientists in the UMV that a large creature built the tunnels
Btw the large thing behind Cephalops is just a much larger differently coloured Cephalops. Also, it's eye is the ball infront of it with crystals and spikes coming out of it. The eye fell off apparently.

The giant cephalops is/was actually a full grown Ceph, and its 'dex entree states that it only surfaces to lay its eggs, then it dies and the born ones will eat its remains. The ceph we encounter has been eating away at the large one.
About the giant figure in deplane tomb... it's a cephalops. The dex entry for cephalops says "After the eggs are laid, the mother dies and the new hatchlings feed upon the remains the mother. There is also multiple eggs there, and the cephalops we encounter most likely ate its siblings to survive.
Cephalops actully also has those "flaps" And the "eye" is actully a bone. The thing on the left is the cut off head where the crystal grows out of the eyeball

At 3:35 i don't think this is a mystery what i think is that this loomian acts like a spider, so basically if you didn't know a mother spider lays her eggs and once her eggs are hatched the baby spiders eat their mother, the more they eat from there mother the stronger and healthyer they get and the ones that hatch late dont get to eat nothing cuz there is anything left of there mother, they grow up weak and aventually die sooner then the other spiders, and that's what i think happened right here not to mention the fact that that one loomian that we caught in this cave was standing right in front of the mother loomian
I think the big thing in deeplake tomb is like a cephalops mother, the eggs are children, and the one you capture is kinda like a teen/young adult. It makes sense, considering cephalops has a gender.
3:35 So, by the lore of the game, that is the mother cephalops. In the description it says it only goes up to have babies. so yeah, that's what it is. Also the eggs are probably just have cephalops who just haven't hatched yet.

There are also eggs on the the ground which if you look closely you can clearly see tiny baby cephalops within them hinting that the giant cephalops could be some sort of mother or queen

I can explain the parts of the Deepwater tomb. So basically when Cephalops is hatched (The mother doesn't need a partner to have eggs) The mother is food for the Cephalops.

Actually, the eye is only different because of deterioration and for the fact it’s probably a gleaming, as you can see in the black spikes on its back.

3:34 that is adult version of cephalops, i think it was fighting a ice/water type legendary loomian at altanthian so thats why it has ice shards on the adult cephalops, the eggs is the baby cephalops the one you capture/fight, when you enter the cave u need 6 relics to open it, u will see a cephalops guarding the corpse of the adult version of the cephalops.

the thing with the chephalops mother in 3:29 is it actually says in its entry that the babies feast on the mothers corpse when they hatch, and the diffrent frill is bc its been eaten by the babies, also explaining why the mother is half decomposed,so yeah, the cephalops in there ate its mom..
the carcess im pretty sure is a bigger cephalops because it has the lines on the back which look exactly like cephalops' back and it has claws like cephalops also
Notice how around 4:44 that there is only one egg that fully has the top off and only leaving the bottom shell, so that means that the cephalops we encounter was the only one to hatch so far. The other empty eggs may have been infertile and got a hole in them or some sort of sea predator thing busted them open and at the baby inside. And since this loomian thing has laid eggs that means it has found a mate which means there is more than 1 of those loomian things before the babies.
Ok so the spirit woman story was based off of one of Pokemon's stories. It was literally just the same tbh. I'll try to basically describe it.
People say that a woman haunts the pier at night. She waits for her love to come back from a battle (war thingy idk). The one she loved died in the battle and she is still waiting. She then turns into stone and that is all I remember. Brock and James fall in love with the woman but then gets cursed I think.
It was a reference to the first version of Pokemon. I love the reference but some people don't know it which is completely fine. It isn't lore based though, that may be a little disappointing. There are 2 more things I want to say
1. The story sounds extremely wrong so it a little of it may sound bull crap (not the stone part).

The dead thing is a full grown Cephalops that built the Lagoona Lake tunnels, it is stated by one of the scientists in the UMV that a large creature built the tunnels

Btw the large thing behind Cephalops is just a much larger differently coloured Cephalops. Also, it's eye is the ball infront of it with crystals and spikes coming out of it. The eye fell off apparently.

The giant cephalops is/was actually a full grown Ceph, and its 'dex entree states that it only surfaces to lay its eggs, then it dies and the born ones will eat its remains. The ceph we encounter has been eating away at the large one.
3:40 its based off the entry of cephalops, it says that once the mother gives birth it dies and the children eat the corpse, its a mom cephalops

About the giant figure in deplane tomb... it's a cephalops. The dex entry for cephalops says "After the eggs are laid, the mother dies and the new hatchlings feed upon the remains the mother. There is also multiple eggs there, and the cephalops we encounter most likely ate its siblings to survive.
And the other details possibly could be age differences
And finally, the guys in the egg are baby cephalops that haven't hatched yet.

At 3:35 i don't think this is a mystery what i think is that this loomian acts like a spider, so basically if you didn't know a mother spider lays her eggs and once her eggs are hatched the baby spiders eat their mother, the more they eat from there mother the stronger and healthyer they get and the ones that hatch late dont get to eat nothing cuz there is anything left of there mother, they grow up weak and aventually die sooner then the other spiders, and that's what i think happened right here not to mention the fact that that one loomian that we caught in this cave was standing right in front of the mother loomian
I think the big thing in deeplake tomb is like a cephalops mother, the eggs are children, and the one you capture is kinda like a teen/young adult. It makes sense, considering cephalops has a gender.
3:35 So, by the lore of the game, that is the mother cephalops. In the description it says it only goes up to have babies. so yeah, that's what it is. Also the eggs are probably just have cephalops who just haven't hatched yet.
The giant creature is a giant dead cephalops you can clearly see its head on the floor with crystals covering where its eye would be. There are also eggs on the the ground which if you look closely you can clearly see tiny baby cephalops within them hinting that the giant cephalops could be some sort of mother or queen

Maybe the cat is like a loomian from a other dimension. Like in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon, you were able to find other pokemons, in other dimensions.

I think Starla is a legendary loomian which is the strongest and further into the game, Mabel with use its powers to go ham on everyone including her friends (maybe because of Jake I dont know 🤷♂️)
That giant cephalops is the mother and it has missing flesh due to the other cephalops(one u capture) eating it. If you had read the entry it says when it gives birth it dies and it's children eat it
At the end of the Vid it showed that one of the eggs was cracked meaning that the cephalops which we catch is just new born as the egg hasnt decayed yet and because of the entry as many people have said the newborn Cephalops actually ate his/her mom

I think I got some good theories when the giant cepolops layd her eggs she died and the cepolops wich u tame up ate his mother to grow thats why he's evolved more then the rest and the other baby's will hatch and consome the mother or the giant cepolops and the cat wich u cant get wich is now mables loomian defeated the giant cepolops and in the giants cepolops last Breath like cockroaches they give birth to there babys if they die

In Cepholop’s loomidex, the mother cepholops gives up her life so the babies can eat. That is why there was a cepholops in the deep lake tomb.

I can explain the parts of the Deepwater tomb. So basically when Cephalops is hatched (The mother doesn't need a partner to have eggs) The mother is food for the Cephalops.
I'm not sure when Cephalops was added but the "giant squid thing" in the tomb is, I'm pretty sure, a mother Cephalops, half eaten.

if you noticed in deeplake tomb there are eggs there but one of those eggs is broken, i assume one hatched and evolved or grew into the cephalops inside there that you can catch
That second loomian you talked about is the mother cephalops and its baby ate it.the third loomian you talk about is unhatched cephalops
the little eye with the white pupile isnt an eye, their hedas are just oen eye and the mother's head was chopped off for no reason idk and the small version of the mother came from the green eggs, in my theory, something attacked them since the mother lay her eggs in the cave and maybe its their home but i think their home got attacked lol idk

Actually, the eye is only different because of deterioration and for the fact it’s probably a gleaming, as you can see in the black spikes on its back.
I think the reason their was a Dead cep in the cave was when they grow Bigger eventually they die and what happend is that they lay eggs and imbue the power inside them to the eggs and that could be why it’s dead and the cep that we see is one of the first layed babies
From what it looked like that giant loomian looks like a giant cephalops just the thing surrounding the eye fell off, it seems to been eaten a bit, and that cephalops and that giant loomian both resemble the vampire squid.
I think one of the eggs in the deeplake tomb suddenly hatched and that cephalops that hatched is the one that you would encounter and I also kinda noticed that one of the egg shells are destroyed I think it's because the cephalops that hatched ate one of it's siblings and it also kinda ate some parts of its mother aka the bigger cephalops

I know what the big loomian is in the Deeplake Tomb is actually the mother cephalops but they crashed or something happened but its head was chopped off by a giant rock
Fun fact the other crab the little one in route 5th its actually the son the roam crab is the dad and the mother is big mother holy cow
