One of my all time favorite Js on the updated improved shape we have been getting on AJ3s in recent years and hopefully as close to OG as possible. BC3s are mandatory , especially on the better shape. Just hope JB doesn't sneak any sail or aged hits on the BC3s between now and the release. The Royal Foams i need as well , grabbed the Eggplants for retail and as tough as they will be eyeing the Galaxys next year but 1000% need the Royal pair as well. Those are my top 3 all time favorite Foams' colorways. I had the OG blue pair in the 90s and been a Foams fan ever since. Just hope with the 2024 blue / royal Foams retro not too many tweaks from the OGs , the shade of blue in particular would be slightly disappointed if quite different to the OGs.

The biggest difference isn't the outsole on royal foams the difference is the blue outline surrounding the small swoosh by toe box they covered that in the snkrs showcase...it's EXACTLY like the sample from advertisements from that era
The outsole is different if you compare the official photos vs. the advertisement. If we’re talking about the biggest difference between sample vs OG version, it would be the outlining on the Swoosh and carbon fiber shank plate.

He is correct on the color. It will make a difference if you compare it to summit white or white. Kind of an aged look, but not as bad as if they used muslin or something along those lines

What they could do for the lucky shorts is have the lucky shorts 3s keep the elaphanr print but make them university blue in the cracks like a “flowing river” or make the pattern on the sides of the unc basketball jerseys where the blue stripe is on the midsole or where the suede is meant to be!
