Excellent sir, this is what I was searching for it.. everyone is talking about 30 min but you really explained in short and sweet.. thanks for the wonderful video.
Note: Since this was made, the "unlock password" and some configuration steps where added that you go through the first time Jenkins starts up. The rest stays the same.
I'm glad it helped. If you're willing to watch a longer tutorial, you might consider th-cam.com/video/79HfmjeOTEI/w-d-xo.html for an introduction to Jenkins Pipeline and the Blue Ocean Pipeline Editor. The Jenkins Minute play list from CloudBees provides brief segments on specific topics at th-cam.com/video/FhDomw6BaHU/w-d-xo.html . If you'd like even more video information on Jenkins, the Jenkins play list at th-cam.com/users/jenkinscicdplaylists may be helpful
If you zoom in on the video, you'll see it used github.com/MarkEWaite/jenkins-demo.git/. Coding knowledge is not required for Jenkins, though if you're not writing code, I don't know how a continuous integration server will help you. Continous integration is most often used with software, combining changes from multiple people and testing that software.
This is really short and sweet. In five minutes, you learn how to build from remote and local git depositories. Just what I need to get started.

I love fast learning. This was great. I'm curious about Jenkins webhooks now
Very succinct, this is top quality content right here.
Thanks for this. Today’s UI doesn’t match but gives me some ideas on how to get this going.
Thank you for keeping things short fun and simple.
Great intro. Just what I needed. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you this was very fun and educational!

Fantastic
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi Mark, that was very insightful and helpful - thank you for sharing.
What text editor were you using at the 3:40 timestamp?
That is emacs, an open source text editor available from the Free Software Foundation. It is somewhat quirky but incredibly powerful.
thanks
