RA is a reprogrammed band A when in the HF mode. UK CB mode is different and limited to 4watts. When in FM in HF mode you have 4, 8 and 15 watts. If you program nearly (can't quite get say 27.60125 so you get 27.600 whether this works that well I don't know) UK CB freqs into band A it shows up here as RA. AU means automatic RF gain. Again what it does behind the scenes not sure. Same with SQL in auto.
also orderd one @ June 2020 :) i go try the cheap one from alie express looks a bit difrent to this 'all named' version. QYT CB-27 for only 57.- i'm gonne do the export mod, and wil make a small simpel revieuw here on yt
4yrs on and next week I'm gonna order the 2000h (exported/expanded version 40w UK40FM). Think it looks great, I have the crt 6900n & Xenon already, can Dx Europe on both, xenon I've put upto 5w, was 2w when I bought it. Hope its still working 4yrs on, thats my question, and did you work out the 'RA' setting, and £100/120.00 the price of the 2000h today, July 2021. IT looks like your channel steps are in 10khz steps not 11.125khz steps for UK40 band? ie 27.98125mhz ch19 uk,does look odd. Id def get the pc lead and software so you can read contents of radio its loots easier setting up bands. rob

Did you get sorted with the CRT 2000 mate? Looks like it's in Export mode - from powered off - use Func/P6 together and then press the power button and then switch it back to UK mode. Just remember that switching it back to that will drop the power down to 4W again on FM and you can't adjust the power in that mode. If you do it right, the RA will change to UK on the display. I use the CRT 2000 out hill walking and it's a great little bit of kit. Cheers mate. Paul, CTX2500.

You turn it on holding func and p6, then select CB, turn off, turn back on holding func, rotate channel knob select u.
