As a personal friend of Olles i can tell you that he wants to get back on a bike its just a question of when its financially possible, we also have kinda wierd laws around driving licenses for motorcycles so if he wants to get a new bike with over 125cc engine he has to get a new license.
Yes, as soon as I can afford to have both a "race car" and a bike I'm getting one, I know exactly which bike I'm getting just need some more money, I really miss riding, and if not this summer it will for sure be next year
ok heres a frosts sub from canada to get you to 1000 🤘 Whats the temperature there? looks like canadian tshirt weather, own 2 240's myself and know the struggles. 940 was the 2.4lh ecu? I did a speeduino ecu swap in the winter and recommend if you want a cheap easy programmable ecu. I too have an fk I need to swap to make the 2.4lh to work and sell my sedan. They come with the K cam... maybe its because it came out an auto wagon? the wagon was a weird car to begin with. Stout build you got. Know how to make a 2.4lh work on a 2.2 engine? would rather keep the fk block for the wagon, it was pulled to get freshened with 500k+ km because it stopped clocking and had the crank pulley do what your cam did. Keep up the struggle
Thanks man, it was like -2 celsius so almost t-shirt weather haha The LH2.4 came in all Volvos from August/September 1988, so all 940's and the late 740 and 240 I'll be running the VEMS V3 with a stand-alone harness The only thing I think you need to change for 2.4 to work with a 2.2 engine is the distributor, Because with LH 2.4 it has a crank trigger for RPM signal and with LH2.2 it uses the distributor for RPM signal, so just install a crank trigger with a 60-2 flywheel and you should be good
@@mattsson_media I thought about just swapping the 60-2 flywheel, but the block has the mounting location for the sensor and the trans has the dimple to let it see the flywheel. the 2.2lh is just a pain to work around lol. -2 would be so nice, average -20 or lower here and no way I'm working on a frozen rust block at that temp or colder. I want to see that monster of an engine running 🤘
Endå big up till dig som inte skyller på nå ursäkter o ba köttar på, motiverande!
Man får göra det bästa med vad man har :)
Id love you to do a full build series on this car, would be fun to watch
I don’t really like to record while I’m working but I’ll for sure keep making update videos and a lot of driving videos once it’s done
Awesome video but are you ever going to get a bike again or is the plan to keep on working on the car and not get a bike again
