Having everything up and running before opening your DAW is critical, as is having the Bridge running. Sometimes unchecking use USB and then rechecking it works.
@@VeronicaGorositoMusic Is it only for iOs both laptop and iphone/ipad? I have a windows7 laptop and an iphone connected via usb, the bridge has an "Enable usb connection" checked, touchosc bridge connection is set to USB, but still it doesn't work. Though it works over wifi, which is a bit frustrating
Eres el mejor!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🥺🥺 No sabes lo frustrado que estaba porque tuve que formatear todo mi pc y no recordaba como lo había configurado! muchisimas gracias!!!😄😄😄😄😄
I was very dissapointed after getting myself an Akai Mini Plus which works great with an old Iphone I have, but doesn't get detected by the old ipad 4th get I got it for, though the Ipad can detect another midi controller I have which is the Novation Launchkey MK2. I guess there may be a 10.3 ios compatibility issue, but I really wished there was a solution. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
If you could make in depth series n touch osc FOR LOGIC PRO X . Then would be really helpful!! I know you have some videos already but if you could go on each functionality then would be great!
Have u ever conected a Windows PC to a Mac? I would like to give my old laptop to the sound tecnititian, so he can do my levels in the ableton session on my mac.
I don't know if I understand it wrong: TouchOSC can run between two devices connected to different networks, when there is a data line connection between them, and the IP is stable
To use OSC, the devices would need to be on the same internet network. If you are using a cable between the tablet device and the computer, then it wouldn't matter about the internet, because the OSC and MIDI could be sent via cable.
I’m trying to connect TouchOSC as a midi controller in Reaper, but when I enable it an error message appears (“Error opening MIDI devices”) and I’m unable to find a solution :( Could you please help me? 🙏
I recommend asking the forums as well, but of the recommendations in this video, did any yield any results or changes in those results? Are other MIDI devices connecting to Reaper?
@@TimCorpus ISSUE RESOLVED: I asked for help to the support team and they told me that Windows can’t manage more than one MIDI program at once. So opening Protokol or TouchOSC editor results in an error on Reaper. You simply have to launch TouchOSC Bridge an then launch Reaper.
I haven't used that before. You should probably consult their Wiki (www.freestylersupport.com/wiki/). Assuming it is good at receiving MIDI messages, TouchOSC should work fine.
Why this has to be so complicated, I still can't understand anything about numbers and ports, I wish there were another way to connect devices wirelessly 💔😭 BTW Android user here, can't make it work since years.
Sorry it's complicated! Are you trying to figure out your OSC connections? The IP address is specific to your device on its router. Check your router or your device's wifi information to find the IP address. The port number is set by you. I recommend using 8000 and 9000.

The bridge is also used for a usb wired connection.
Only for iOS.

Oh dang that's frustrating and also confusing. Is it through USB cable?

Hey glad the videos are helpful. I'll add it to my list. I don't have a trial of Logic anymore, so I'll have to figure out a way to get one.
@@TimCorpus okay 👍 Thank you for all the videos on your channel. Keep em coming!!
For some reason the chapters/timestamps don't work in your video...
You also need itunes or ipad drivers installed on your pc. Otherwise, it won't work :) struggled a while to find this out :D

my mpk mini was not greyed out in connections. I change the device and now it;s greyed out....any ideas?
What did you change in the device? A good starting point is to reverse engineer the changes. Test different USB slots as well.
