Thanks for such a genuine review! I had the speedy 30 as my first LV bag, and then the 2nd big one being NeoNoe in caramel. I chose them 2 (rather than neverfull) for the same reasons as you mentioned: care-free, security, and crossbody! Totally agree and so happy that I purchased those 2 recently as my first big LV bags. So glad I stumbled on your video! I'm super torn on getting the new speedy b 25 DE or to get one pre-loved because of the matte finish leather on the new DE. If I look at your video and that it's been 3yrs, my guess is that you got the newer version of the DE which is the matte finish leather on the handles & strap. I read on lots of forums that the matte leather can get water marks from rain, and an LV SA told me to be mindful when using hand lotion before touching the handles/strap. This is definitely not the case with the older shiny DE leather.
How does the matte finish holding up on your speedy b nowadays?
Is it easy to get some water marks (rain) on the matte handle? I know that rain isn't an issue with the original shiny leather. Curious to know how the matte leather performs! :) Thanks so much!!

Great video! I've been deciding between the alma and speedy and this was helpful. I have to say, I own the neonoe and have slammed on the breaks with everything falling out more than a few times! 😂
LOL Me too!!! A zipper would be helpful in those situations.
I love your video on these two bags. I own both as well. The top handle is a game changer for the neo noe, agree with you 💯 ! These two are in my top 3. My empriente pochette Métis is in that 3. Out of the 3, I use my speedy the most as I’m not as worried to use it as much?! Lol. You’re such a beautiful TH-camr! Love your content!
I totally agree! The Neo Noe and the Speedy 25 are just great workhorse bags, not fussy. I don't own the Pochette Metis but I could see how you could be worried about the empreinte. Thank you for your kind words.

the speedy B is the good to go bag. I have it too, much more comfortable than neonoe strap, although neonoe looks chicer.

Omg, literally the 2 handbags I've been looking into getting! I cannot decide! I have a toddler so I'm leaning towards a speedy bc of the zipper but ugh the bucket is so cute too 😭

Thank you for this! I bought and sold the NeoNoe. I had the extra strap and all. I missed it and wanted to rebuy it and you reminded me the sole reason I sold it was the buttons hurt my shoulder when crossbody and I used it that way more often than I thought I would!! I constantly had to readjust. I missed it so much I forgot that part! It’s enough of a reason not to buy it again. Thank you!!! Love the speedyB25😉
Glad I could help! I do agree with you. I don't carry this handbag crossbody. I use my LV Pochette Metis crossbody. The SpeedyB25 is a GREAT bag.
Exactly the same reason I returned Neonoe, then bought the speedy b 25. Also neonoe is so chic, almost I forgot the reason why I returned it.
I bought the thick guitar strap from LV and it’s amazing with this bag
Interesting how the Neonoe price has gone up 280.00 since I purchased mine a couple of years ago. I’ve only used mine a couple of times because living in a small town, sometimes the ladies will side eye you. 🤨 My co-workers have finally convinced me to pull it out of the box and strut it! 😆 I just put a beautiful leopard print strap on it and I can’t wait wait to walk into work with it on Monday. 😁 Purchased the short handle on Etsy per your recommendation!
The prices seem to go up at least once a year lately. Glad you love the short handle. I found it to make the handbag much more functional!
Just put adjustable strap on Neo noe then no issue if heavier ! Great video. My fav is Neo hands down. It’s my next purchase

However I’ve only had it for a month and I noticed that the glazing is starting to crack on top like the neo noe is known to do.
And I was wondering since you bought yours in 2017, if you have any problem with the glazing cracking on top or the bottom? Go military wives!
i love leather handbag, but consider these days under COVID, i got the canvas.
I use a lot alcohol , sanitize. and spray antibateria spray on bags...
canvas is the one to go

You can buy inserts for the neo noe now. I think if I had the blk trim like yours I’d buy I light insert. The insert is nice because the ones I’ve seen one side has a zipper 👍🏻👍🏻

i watched this video for 5times now, i just love how u cover things to consider when buying a bag just like lv. i have question for u: if you have not purchased your balck neonoe and there is an option for damier ebene - would u still stick with monogram black?

I'm a DH Entrance user SPEEDY 25's suggestions are very new
When I was trying to purchase my first LV bag, I got neonoe in black first, then I couldn't use the strap comfortably, as I also have 2 kids, I need the crossbody too, also black interior made it me hard to find anything literally. So I returned the Noenoe, instead, I got Speedy 25 B in DE exactly like yours, I am very happy for the speedy, crossbody is much more comfortable. the only downside is the leather already has a small crack after 3 months of daily use in the strap, now it sits in my closet for a while not only for the crack but also for the covid reason. p.s. not sure if the quality issue is due to the made in the USA.
If you take your bag back into LV store they will likely replace your strap since it’s before a year.
Oh gosh I second Rach and say to bring it back into the store.

Hi just wondering if you think the speedy 30 would be better than the 25 just for the opening?
I personally think the Speedy 30 is a bit boxy and large for my frame. If you like a larger handbag, it may suit you. The opening is a bit larger to get things in and out of the bag with ease.
The leather on damier ebene is treated so you won’t get water marks on the handles 😊 unlike vachetta on monogram

People are going to stop buying their bags, since they aren't handmade and just go for Hermes instead. Chanel will never be equal to Hermes, even if they want to be. A few years ago, their bags were only $2500 now they are up to $7000. Do you think it is worth it? Would you buy one new at the current price? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
