I discovered your videos recently and it gave me the urge to go back to normal mode after doing custom snecko eye runs for hundreds of hours. I went Silent A13 - A20 in 20ish runs. Thanks for explaining your process so well and making these videos entertaining!

@@mikerundle72 I dunno how common it is, but every white castle ive ever been to goes heavier on the syrup in their drinks than any other fast food place. A fountain Big Red is almost mythical in flavor.

The Heart fight made me think of of Ponzi scheme offense. Problem: we're losing focus too quickly. Solution: Just cast more Biased Cogs! It works as long as the Heart dies before the house of cards collapses :)

This was a good video, but it still didn't top the ones titled "That's OP" or "Insane Combo."
Finally finished A20 on Silent today! Watching the videos and learning your thought process has helped me talk myself through runs and figure out where to improve.
Im pretty sure in the gremlin fight in act 1, you would have gotten electro regardless of when in the fight you used the potion. Just as info, love your videos
no? I've gotten different cards from drinking potions on different turns. the game probably uses the same random number generator for a number of things that happen midfight (shuffling, potion, etc).
Had a run very similar to this the other day, lower ascension so only 1 boss but ofc it was awakened one, final shop (from an event even!) had pellets in it and it was the first time I got to just not care about awakened ones power scaling cause I could bias and buffer my way to his early death \m/
Spear and shield turn 2 draw was very lucky.
It would have been very easy to loose there.
The first storm he took wasn't the first to appear though. He passed up one in act1.
Why did he took the omamori in anticipation of sonething? What's the combo between omamori and the courier?
you might get the 999 gold + 2 Normality event in act 3. Omamori would allow you to take the 999 gold comfortable, which leads to a shopping spree with the courier.

Does this guy ever burn ascenders bane?
Usually, it is better to exhaust a different card because Ascenders Bane already exhausts itself.
There might be scenarios in which you'd exhaust Ascender's Bane in order to achieve some benefit (centennial puzzle + blue candle), but otherwise there's no use spending a resource on it since it will go away.
I have seen players, if they have no better use for it, do things like Hologram an Ascender's Bane out of a discard pile to make sure it exhausts.
Would a 0 cost card that allows you to select a specific enemy for your orb to hit until that enemy dies or you use the card again, with the upgrade: And now evoke your orb, be good?
I think would definitely be good, particularly at Uncommon. It's a do-nothing effect if you have no orbs, but if you've got consistent orb generation, it would be quite strong. I think it's a solid B-tier card and a great idea.
Compare the massive amount of damage the lighting orbs did here compared to blizzard. He had the opportunity to even take a blizzard. He did not. Do you blizzard fanboyz get it yet? Blizzard is NOT a good card. It's like you clowns that tell him he should take claw.
