    Fail!
    You only need one wrap of cambric tape, and there's no reason to put it in the "Y" of the splice. That many wraps of cambric will leave air bubbles inside the tape ball, which will expand and cause failure of the tape as the splice experiences heating. The cambric should be mashed as close to the lug and bolt set as possible to minimize air gaps.
    For the rubber tape, I get much better results by taping in 10 inch strips until the tape ball has sufficiently covered and padded the splice. And I NEVER allow the tape to wrinkle. Same for the vinyl tape on top.
    For fun, I once used Scotch 35 instead of 33. I wrapped one lead in brown, one in yellow, and one in orange.
