- In 1988, Jiebing had an erhu recital at the Shanghai Concert Hall accompanied by both the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra. This live recording was made then where Jiebing played the various versions of the erhu (banhu, jinghu, gaohu). In this performance, it was the first time that these erhu's were used in a soloist role under the accompaniment of a western symphony. All the pieces played in this concert were arranged by the famous composer Chen Gong including his signature concerto, the Butterfly Lovers. For the Butterfly Lovers Concerto re-arrangement, Jiebing was the first soloist to ever play the concerto in erhu instead of the violin which this concerto was originally written for. These performances have been broadcasted to all parts of China through radio and television. Part 1 is the first of the 8 pieces in the recital.
1988年6月15日，陳潔冰在上海音樂廳举办了一場新穎胡琴独奏音樂会。這場音樂會陳潔冰演奏了四種不同胡琴：二胡，板胡、京胡、高胡的經典名曲，並首次在西方交响乐的伴奏下，胡琴被用于独奏角色。本场音乐会演奏的曲目全部由著名作曲家陳鋼编曲，包括他的著名代表作品《梁祝》。音樂會的下半場陳潔冰首演了陳鋼重新改編【二胡-高胡协奏曲梁祝】。第 一部分是音樂会 8 首曲目中的第一首【二泉映月】。"我不知拉過多少回【二泉映月】。每當我演奏這首不朽名作時，我都會那麼不由自主地動情。應該是傷感多于抒情。但陳鋼版的二泉，却好像是一首散詩，它更有一種奇妙獨特的處理。當一開始二胡起伏頓挫的下行句從弓下奏出時，不僅好似聽到了阿炳在顛沛流離中的感嘆，而且真是感到那淙淙的【二泉】流水，流過山澗，流過大海，流向世界，流過每個人的心頭“！- 陳潔冰
Fantastic! The most soulful 二泉映月 ever played!
Another exceptional performance that is beautifully done. Especially I enjoy the accompaniment by western instruments, violins and piano, to the superb skills of Ms Chen on a famous piece of Erhu music. That opens my horizon to enjoy a piece Chinese music performed with western and Chinese instruments. As usual, Ms Chen’s excellent performance and in depth expression brought out Ah Bing spirit between the two strings. Looking forward to more performances by Ms Chen.
