I've seen Lenny Kravitz live before. all of his albums he plays all of the instruments. The bass, the drums, the guitar, the vocals. And he writes and produces everything. Everything you hear is all Lenny Kravitz. It's freaking awesome. Amazing artist and musician

I used to listen to lenny in the car with my dad when i was little. Suffice to say the kindergarten teacher was surprised to find out who my favorite musician was.
Lenny is named after his Dad's brother, who died in battle. His namesake was actually given the Medal of Honor, a few years ago. His Dad is Jewish and his mother was Jamaican-American. She was a famous actress on the Jeffersons.

There is a video on TH-cam, where he hears a high school band performing this song in a park. He stands in the crowd, very humbly, and sings with them...then eventually, he is recognized, then goes on stage to perform and sing with them! Everyone was so Star Struck and he was very Humble and VERY COOL!

Yep..actress Roxie Roker who played Helen Willis. She was groundbreaking in being a part of one of the first interracial couples on television. The way the story goes..she was asked if she would be comfortable playing such a part..she took out a picture of her husband and that sealed the deal

Think Roger left Zapp by the time he did "Computer Love." They should look for his work under Zapp for Bounce to The Ounce & Roger Troutman for Computer Love or California w/ Dr. Dre & Tupac. When he worked on CA song, he'd fly from Dayton to CA regularly for their song's collaboration & would not use his free upgrades to 1st class. He'd fly coach each time despite free 1st class seat = wider seats w/ more leg room. better free food & drinks for such a long flight. He'd still ride Coach. I do know some people don't like 1st class due to plane crash they're the 1st to go usually.
Roger was very nice, quiet, & unassuming guy, but his non-famous brother was very demanding, wanted all the freebies that was due Roger as a high frequent flyer member, but not him because he wasn't the star or member! LOL He scared the crap out of this 1 agent hollering do you know who I am or my brother? Blondie had no clue, almost in tears as the brother yelled he wanted XYZ. She asked me who the name was, told her, but said brother couldn't use Roger's special privileges' w/out Roger's Permission. He slammed the phone down. This was pre-cell phones. LOL

Now a days he gets more publicity to me for being sexy, aging gracefully, etc than his newer music, & IMO that's a shame, because he's so talented, He's truly loved in Europe w/ music buyers than USA consumers to me these last 15 yrs. specifically. Other than his older work I have no idea what he's put out since B&W America. I also noted most post suggesting older works for twins to hear as well versus more current works.

I saw Lenny and Pink opened for him [she was also outstanding]... in Toronto, Lenny made a DVD of the tour [most songs were filmed in Toronto]... when he played this song, the crowd was SOOO loud, you could barely hear the band.... this was one of my Top 5 concerts I've seen in 40 yrs and I won't forget it because I lost a smoke pack full of fat doobs on the way in [we were prepared tho haha].... check out "Can't Get You Off My Mind" amazing vocals "Are Ya Gonna Go My Way" major rips...
