Well, you can't be the Blackhawks or Wings. Gotta have penalties, offsides, and fights on, and line changes. And, be the Sharks or the Ducks, and oppose the Hawks or Wings. Becomes challenging then. A bit.
Eddie Belfour with a home run pass and Cam Russell looking like Bobby Orr... what a game... This game was almost perfect except it didn't have the fights like the previous two

The best was NHL 92 because you'd start a fight every time you did that

In NHL 99 ( or maybe 2000 ) you could injure the players during that time and not get penalties.

I have NHL '94 for the SNES. I punished the other team into the boards as a kid and I still do it after a goal. So many times I've accidentally picked whatever line was assigned to the check button...

I scored 38 goals against the Florida Panthers in NHL 12 with the Tampa Bay Lightning.Stamkos and LeCavalier scored 6 each i think.
I don't think there ever was a kid who did not tackle the helpless defenders against the rink after scoring a goal.
I went to a Hawks-Capitals game at the United Center and booed every time the Capitals won a faceoff.
