Sharing Classic Country & Bluegrass with the Masses: Q&A with AJ Lee, Leader of the Blue Summit Band

Episode 029 of Maximum Ink Music Magazine's Video Podcast features an interview with AJ Lee, singer/songwriter and leader of the Blue Summit Band.
The California-based group is taking its classic Country, Bluegrass and Folk sounds around the country this summer with a few stops in the Midwest, including headlining the Sugar Maple Music Festival in Madison on Saturday, August 6.
AJ and I also talk about what it means to be considered a "torchbearer" for this style of music, and why she tried to find another career path but felt the call to be a musician; plus, who's the special person who taught her this art.

I've watched AJ grow from alittle girl to what she is now. I had the pleasure of seeing them at a free out door show in Santa Monica the other day. They were great. They didn't need a banjo player. They are all fine musicians. I like how each member got a chance to shine. It wasn't all about just AJ . I spoke alittle with them and thanked them for coming to L A. This is the best line up of musicians sence I've been following. I hope they make an album toghter. I'm so proud of AJ. Thanx for the fine music you give us. If you have never seen AJ LEE & BLUE SUMMIT.and want to hear some good BLUE GRASS ,I highly recommend them.
