As important as a daily advent calendar seems to be, we ALWAYS end up missing days and catching up, sometimes 4 days! That's just part of how advent calendars work lol, even the simple tiny chocolate ones. I guess one benefit to opening several days at once is when you might get something like a piece of hot wheel track (not today) or a waffle slime mix-in...bonus second day gets u an extra goody. Love the shelves. Even with basic brackets it's just so nice to see no more spackle patches after all those years! Congrats!
I've always thought Duncan was a very bright little boy. To see him reading at 4 is wonderful. That's the age I started reading and I had parents who encouraged me, just as you encourage Duncan. I developed a love for reading which is still with me. Duncan will soon be devouring books.

Of course I live in a house of 6 people, not saying that everyone else is going to help with any of it. Just my mom and I.
