Just before the team killing penalties were changed/buffed some months ago, I loaded into a game with a team killer on my team, who was spamming chat in a foreign language and sailed in between another battleship and myself. Not 2 minutes into the game, he fired torps at the both of us so I sunk his ass with 1 salvo, gladly turning pink for a day.

Few months ago i was playing my Myoko. It was early after patch and i had issues with mods as game crashed after joined battle. No problems then. I closed game, go to delete mods in resmods directory, launch game again and joined back to battle. It took at most 3 minutes to do all of this.
Okay, i finally get into batlle, start steaming ahead and turn left to join friendly ships....then suddenly torpedo warning...from behind? Friendly Atago thought im not moving, so i must be bot(or whatever he was thinking) and torp me. He didnt sink me, but nearly did, so i wasnt repairing flooding, congratulate him on loss and left battle. Obviously i was right, game was loss.
What a idiot.. He sent torps after i started moving, there wasnt any enemy ship nor reason for him send torps in my direction.
If he was close enough, any BB with 10+ guns can, in theory, nuke a DD with a good salvo. Overpens are Overpens, and they still do their 1000-ish damage each, even on a DD.
He was a very low tier cruiser or destroyer and very very close, making it very easier to one shot him

ya first blood went to the enemy team just like .2 seconds before scrub got a kill and so ya jungles was wrong on the first blood award callouts the entire game lol

+lucas buffington world of warplanes was ok until a stupid update that screwed up the controls for me (used a flight stick for controls) and stopped playing ever since then.
Revisiting these videos 18 months later, its hard to believe the game has changed this much, It's a completely different beast now, looking at the Meta and ship lineup's

Derzki is such a fun little ship. Had a couple matched during its tenure of sailing straight into the middle of a bunch of enemy battleships, and torping 4 out of 5 of them before dying.

I would say your assessment of tier 3 and 4 battleships not having good secondaries is nolonger accurate, courtesy of our friends with the Kaiserliche Marine.

sometimes, those 10 torps couldn't even kill a T4 BB, because after some torp hits, the part is turning black, and turning black mean further reduction in dmg. it is better for torp to have high alpha so you can overshoot the dmg barrier
The last time I was this early, I sat in a Fallopian tube for a few days.

The thing is with the Derpeski, it's not a gunboat, it's a torpedo boat. I like to stick to islands and attacking with torpedoes. Guns are secondaries.
I mean those torpedoes were suicide torps when they were 3km, but when they were buffed to 4, they are awsome.

On the teamkilling thing, I exploited the reflected damage aspect once. Friendly DD torps me in my Yamato, I start flooding same time he turns pink. I don't repair, I let myself flood (can fix that later anyway) and let the reflected flooding damage kill him.
While having open season on teamkillers would be nice at times, because it is so much easier to accidentally hit your teammates with torpedoes than a stray gun shot in WoT I understand that it will never work.

I think he only deployed on a couple of destroyers, then primarily was posted ashore, since he was clerical staff.

I don't think he would've served on any of them, the only ship from WW2 in the world to see service beyond the 60's was the US Iowa-class battleships, with the last one, Missouri, being decommissioned in the 1980's...
Also I think the only ships Jingles served on were destroyers and frigates, no cruisers

IDK Jingles. I use this ship to hunt DD's. Lots of torps to throw at them. If you throw enough shit at a wall.......and it only takes a few torps......

6 days since War Thunder Naval forces where announced and nothing from Jingles?
just saying, by "getting close to an enemy battleship cuz they have bad secondaries," this doesnt count that teir 2 japanese battle ship I remember you featuring a while back right?
I really wish WOT had a team kill deterrent like warships.
I once have a game in my Königsberg where I deal 97,711 damage, 10 plane down, 7 incapacitates, 6 ship destroyed, 8 set on fire, 3 defened, 1 captured, and five AA hit for the cost of....2,871 Damage Received with over 200k profits.
And I forgot to place in the replay command to show how it all happen. I have no idea why the CV haven't sent Torp bomb at me at all and I still keep turning as if he going to fire at me.....and then he went after the battle ship lol. But it went as plan in the match, capture A and win back B. I was the last ships alive with a DD being the only left and he just capture A and the best thing about the Königsberg can do is both of the rear main guns can turn 360. No matter which side the DD will try to out run the guns, there'll be 3 Triple barrel 150mm to be prepare to kiss your ass goodbye. Edit: By the way, it a Tier 5 Match when Teir 4 outnumber them lol.

I've had more than one that shot at me or other team members, sometimes guns, sometimes with torps. I got to the point where it happened in multiple battles in a row and I put it up on chat that the next one that shot at me on purpose (and I was in a battleship) I would absolutely shoot back. And if it happened to be a one-shot kill of a "friendly" destroyer, so be it

whenever I see pink ships I just hope they turn into the guy from that replay from a while ago, and make it there mission to cause as much pain and suffering to the enemy team without any shits given about there personal safety
