Ape x85 flex kit is the answer, you need 30% more fuel to run on a e85 tune. So pump in a e85 car will run rich. E85 in a pump gas tune car will run lean. X85 kit lets you run flex on a stock ecu. You just wire it inline between injectors and the harness , easy install no tune adjustment needed. Ape also has seperate boost controller as well that will raise boost as e content goes up. Your air fuel is also different on e85.
A car tuned on e85 will run crazy rich on 93 e85 burns way faster than 93 so it will pull like double the fuel on 93 but it won’t hurt it for a short period of time
feel bad for the kid he put so much money into it and it never even ran, dont know why he wouldnt hop on youtube and atleast TRY to get it running. Also did you change your stoic ratio on the gauge for e85 to give accurate afr readings? E85 afr's should be way richer than 13 14 on throttle more like 6-9 on WOT (if the gauge is reading right)
@@Euroboyz it would be extremely rich for pump gas but e85 needs 30-40% more fuel than pump 93 stoichiometric ratio for e is 9.8:1 and for pump gas is i think 14.7:1, as far as the gauge goes you should be able to either change the stoic ratio from 14.7:1 or change it to lambda, you can also just leave it as is but you have to keep in mind during tuning the 14.7 on the gauge is actually 9.8 because of the ethanol
also for best power and tq you want to be slightly rich i believe generally on pump 93 its between like 10-12, 12 being closer to part throttle/light accel and 10 being WOT (for reference why im saying 6-9 on e85)
that port is just crankcase vapors you can literally just put a filter on it, run a hose that dumps it on the ground, run it to a vented catch can, leave it completely open and spit oil/blowby/water all over ur engine bay it quite literally doesnt matter in terms of performance most boosted builds just run it to a can thats vented to atmosphere with a little filter on top 👍
That kid coulda easily have fix it by watching a couple TH-cam vid but he didn’t even try so his loss lol
Dude has some of the best content on TH-cam idk how he doesn’t have a Mill+ subs 🌚
Chilllll gango

Nice! May need some more parts off you soon
we got the same problems lol I got a 98 528i turbo in a trade slowly restoring but subbed 💯
Keep it up man!!

I didn’t change anything on the gauge, didn’t know that was a thing. 6-9 sounds crazy rich though no?

are the rear subframe mounts reinforced? if not, you'll find out reeeeal quick.
They’re not but I ordered the kit! And camber arms and r tab bushings! Just did wheels and coilovers too! Video coming soon
@@Euroboyz noice. i ordered all my bushings from condor and have eibach camber arms. getting my car ready for a drift event next saturday
Make a video on red coupe❤
i can feel the manual swap comming
Just bought a parts car two days ago!!!
@@Euroboyz haha no way
It should be running lean if it had a e85 tune not rich. You have to add more fuel when you run e85.
right. The car was running rich. Meaning going to e85 on the same tune would lean it out. Which it did. Afr’s are great now
@@Euroboyz you right I don’t know what I was thinking 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ glad it’s coming together 👌🏻
🎉
lol what a loser 😂😂 bros mad he sold it ? lol
🤣🤣🤣yea dude is lame
Bro is it me or you don't have the ccv hole on the head blocked off, won't that help it run bad?
Yea I need to order a catch can. But I’ve ran my last turbo e36 just like that in my whole ownership and it made 400 reliably the whole time!
